Even the best get hit hard occasionally. He has been one of the best in MLB all season. Marco matching him today using command.

Cant be said enough. Archer is just completely and totally filthy as he continues to frustrate the best offense in MLB. Any mistake he gives we are missing.

I cant shake it....still pissed about pen management yesterday as Archer mows us down. Thankfully Estrada bringing his A game today because we f***ing need it.

How does that explain leaving Loup in against RHH? Tepara has been quite good but he has been used mostly in lower leverage situations and his body of work is not really comparable. Hendriks/Delabar have been reasonably consistent in high leverage situations and I think you need to live and die with the outcome using them in the game today.

Small consolation. 70 games left and 4.5 gms back with the entire division packed up, save the NYY. It become math based on probabilities pretty soon as games slip by.

Nice start by RA. Id rather go with my best in the pen to win gm 2 and live or die with that decision. Archer in 3rd gm What Gibby did today was dumb. 1 run game decided by a #9 hitter and a RHP middle reliever. Sucks ass.

I usually don't have an issue with Gibby but if we cant come back today and lose tomorrow with TB taking 2/3 again @ home this gm is on him. Just indefensible decision (s) on pen mgm with Archer tomorrow and rested pen.

4.5 gms back and playing an AL East team.... one run lead... Archer tomorrow. And we use Loup against RHH and Tempura with a rested pen. Makes total sense?

Big 1st game of series with Archer in 3rd game. Gibby trying to nail it down. don't have any issue with that. Tie game.

one would think if you don't hit much and you throw like s*** you would bust your hump to make that out. Nice rip Jose...he looked pretty lame at the plate the last couple days and then just destroys one.

That is funny. Anybodys division still and Jays if they can add some arm depth. To state the obvious Jays have to start converting more of these close game opps into W column.

f*** I wish Erex comes out hot and puts a stop to the talk to move him. Even if he agrees to move unless he is part of a delectable return there is zero point to move his under market deal and bat. He is still a threat even if signs of decline are real.

As frustrating as it's been we are still in this for real so nobody is going anywhere unless an arm comes back and that's fine with me. We aren't the only team with 1st half struggles still with a shot.

In boonies Alaska fishing with my 7 year old boy. Check the score and lines enough to get pissed off and curse the overall results. Mark B ...can't say enough about this ol guy. Justs keeps doing what he does best. About what I expect from "Pawn Felix". Inconsistent possible 5th man in rotation which is ok. Feel like season was/is there but lack off season moves on arm(s) really catching up to us. Not a next year guy.

Tough run since the streak....we aren't the only ones but this is getting old. For all the big musing about sweeping red and white sox they handed us our ass. This team will get it together...but they need an arm(s). -

The never ending banter from Tabby about poor pitchers not getting runs to support "their wins" is annoying. Shows just how useless a W-L record is in evaluating a pitchers actual performance. Of course there are pitchers (like Hutch etc) whose W-L is better then it probably should be in relation to their numbers. -
