    Never in my wildest nightmares did I expect this high powered elite offense to stumble out of the gate to start this season as poorly as they have collectively. How is this still happening?....and against Cain tonight. We are making scrub after scrub look good.

    I still expect Cecil to be "very good" all said and done. Frankly, if he isn't we are f***ed.

    Admittedly it doesn't look good right now (to say the least) but he isn't far removed from 2014 gaudy numbers including a .400 OBP. 2015 he wasn't far below .255, and he did post a career high in HRs. I hate what I have been seeing the latter of last year and so far 2016, but I still have hopes he will get it together.

    Probably is. But so are many other players. He is so talented I think he eventually will figure it out and make adjustments. Votto took a long time after his knee to get his pop back. But at least with him he never lost his line drive and eye. Is it just me or does it look like he is taking or missing/fouling strikes and swinging at a lot of balls endlessly? He seems to be behind the count in almost every AB lol.

    I've not been wanting to press the panic button on Tulo but im worried now. Seen enough since last year to think it's not something that will come around much. I watched some utube of his Rockie's ABS and its crazy. He looks like the exact same swing. He was a line drive machine and using the whole field. Now he rarely gets on top of a ball and his pitch selection is so odd. I think he is a guy who was used to success....went through a major hip labrum surgery and has not made the necessary swing/stance adjustments to compensate (if it's possible).

    Talk about leading with your chin. Reye's bargaining agent agreed to this policy. The Union also negotiated many benefits in their CBA that Reyes has enjoyed. Like a guaranteed contract. The Rockies would love to use this PR black eye to cancel his deal. But they can't. He has an appeal process right which he will exercise likely. He wouldn't have a prayer in court. Employers and Unions negotiate the terms of employment.

    MLB is a business with a brand to protect. Its not a court of law. They are two separate entities with differing objectives. If there are any corroborating witnesses and other evidence to his wife's initial account then MLB will act to protect their business and their standing within the public and fanbases. He can appeal the suspension, based on his perception of the facts. The value of the brand they are protecting with this suspension is why a guy like Reyes can make $20mm a year.

    Was thinking about starting a Bullpen mgm thread as I was rehashing yesterdays gm in my head this am. Gibby is driving me insane. Storen is quickly working his way up the ladder for biggest reliever acquisition bust in Jays history - Claudill, Myers, CoCo, Francisco. Hon Mention: Gregg. Cant put BJ on this list as for part of his contract he was dominant before he broke down.

    Not surprised. I didn't think MLB would put much weight on her not cooperating at this point. That was predictable. Its going to be all about the witnesses and evidence taken at the time of incident.

    Met Spanky today after game....had a good 10 min vent session outside. Honest to fk....Gibby makes some dumb calls. that was a depressing loss.

    He had a phone with a huge screen and was texting away. I couldn't help but take a peek. All I saw was a pic of a very large tit some chick texted him lol.

    Super cool. Puig and Turner at aquarium with us after game today. Signed ball for my boy. Puig is a large dude. They were really friendly.
