    Watching NYY getting beat by TEX 5-1 and selfishly loving the fear and disappointment in the voices of the Yank's announcers. Would love to the f***ing O's take a nosedive anytime soon. Their offense has been ridiculous and their pitching is better than it should be.

    Its terrible. They felt they had to do it. The market was set that off season by MINN making a big splash with Parise and Suter. I do some business with one of their owners and was working out of his offices through that whole period while they were trying to figure out what to do.

    JD doing an amazing job this month using the whole field.

    I think both the BoSox and Jays are better than the O's, FWIW. We are going to have to be to roll by them in the 2nd half. It can happen. But I think they will add some pitching depth to an elite offense. They are on fire this month.

    PK for Weber. Wow. Thought they were both lifers on those big deals and with PK donating $10mm to the hospital in MTL. It will be nice to see more of Weber. PK 3 years younger.

    Did I expect them to never give up a run? No. And GFY on the sarcasm. Did I expect them to perform better overall? Yes. I know what the numbers are. I liked the pen going into the season, but I expected more thus far out of arms like Cecil and Storen. I don't think there are many people in baseball who didn't. Few expected them to give up this many runs in leverage situations. Obviously, if we were getting the WAR from Tulo, Martin and Jose expected, it wouldn't be much of an issue.
