    What are the odds this rotation is as healthy and as effective in 2017 as it was this year? Not good. We need to get into and through the WC now. This division gets no easier next year.

    Seeing Navvy PH when the lineup turned over in the 9th last night was all I needed to see to be convince me without Travis Jose should lead off.

    On beating up the pen for losses "we are supposed to be a hitting team...so start hitting and take some pressure off people". I don't often agree with Kevin Barker, but when I do, I must be really pissed off.

    the only thing that even gets it into consideration is the tight FA market and the shortage of LHH they have. If we make a QO he takes it. His D is below average; he is a chandelier and his K rate when your other big LHH is Smoak is just not acceptable. The first half of this season will be the best sustained portion of his career offensively. The league has figured him out and he can't adjust. I say let him walk.

    Compare that to Britton hasn't blown one all season and it kind of tells the tale.

    IF Osuna is available he will be gassed with 3 days of work in a row.

    Sick feeling. We have blown the last 3 saves. Osuna got Kim in the last series with 2 strikes with a slider down and in. I was hoping he would go back to it. That guy was a huge cheap find for the O's. Massive HR for them off our best with a hell of an AB. Compare that to Uptons in the 8th as a PH or Navvy's PH ABS. Makes tomorrow an even bigger game.

    I'm ok with them all but good with more Cecil and less Grilli and Benoit.

    ^ this. Cecil has been throwing the ball really well and a LHH hitter was 1st up in the 9th. Grilli has been great but he is 39 and has been used a lot. 2 gms in a row BS.

    Good job Happ! Too bad though. If he gets over to cover the bag for that play on Gardner on time he is through 3 with about 32 pitches.
