    I wasn't commenting on his moral make up. Just his numbers. As far as his issue, charges were dropped and he served an MLB suspension for their view of his actions. Not up to me to judge further.

    I liked the Pearce addition O's made and anytime you can add a SH bat like Beltran that's a huge tool. In fairness I think Jays FO thought they would get more out of Upton than they have to date. Really hope he can get something going against TEX.

    His innings will be "limited" if we don't get through the 5 game series. Then again I thought they should have started Liriano yesterday and it worked out, so I'm going to try to chill and let this FO group do what they do without having anymore brain aneurisms.

    They pitched him so well last night. He took that one single with 2 strikes to RF and was on for Trumbo HR, but they had him reaching for everything on the 1st pitch. He loves it.

    Like Alcides he hurt us in the playoffs last year. They were both ripping at every 1st pitch. They have to get him to chase off the plate.

    That's what I said. You said it better and more succinctly. Buck's decision was a monumental fail, even if Britton gives it up. There is nobody sensible who would chastise him for using the guy that got them there.

    Kind of amazing to watch Tulo over the last week. You get the sense he is really comfortable here now and a real leader of this team. Great D...stinging the ball...and way more animated and emotional than we have been used to seeing. He wants to win so badly. Its really a treat to watch him play. He will come up big against TEX

    I agree with you. I cant stand him but thought his PC was dignified and straight up. The argument that he is "dammed if you do dammed if you don't" with burning Britton earlier or not is partially true. But using Britton without the lead in key situation and maybe giving up a lead later vs saving him for a lead they didn't get is vastly more defensible. HE would still get heat from dumbasses, but much less so.

    The media is going to have a blast promoting this series. Even before "the punch" the Game 5 2015 was a great revenge story. We have to play our best to beat this team. Our D last night was excellent. Aside from the DPs, which happen, the team seemed to take their game to a higher level. I cant wait for this series. I think I'm going to have to head to TOR. Last night was epic. I'm still buzzing from it.

    I don't if he can sustain it but the speed of the way Liriano was working with that stuff and mix was just fun to watch. He had them flailing. I felt confident watching him thinking we can go 6 IP with this guy if we need to.

    Got to bed late. Up early. Still amped up. Have watched Edwins HR and the electric crowd reaction about 50 times. What a moment as a Jays fan. Thanks boys. Keep it rollin'. We have unfinished business.

    He wasn't too bad...he saw how into it I was so he kinda just sat there. What a game. Those 3 depressing DPs eclipsed by the pen performance and a mammoth E-Rex walk off. Liriano was a beast on the bump...just dealin'
