    Thought so. Me too. The slider destroys people sometimes but if he misses or f***s with the cutter with no FB they have to respect he gets lit up.

    Tough year. His secondary pitche development is great and they have been filth at times this season but without the good FB he can get killed. That was a cutter over the inner half he missed on?

    Tillman sucks. Nice job by the last 3 hitters. JD is an exceptional hitter - going to miss him.

    Agree. I shudder to think. He did demand 5/150 deal after 2015 and publically indicated no need to negotiate on it. A friend of mine in TOR used him for some ads. They went to lunch and he reiterated all this to him. Like he had quite a chip on his shoulder. Jose did some voodoo math with him about his incremental value to Rogers, that he felt he could deduce because they were a pubco. In other words, most of what was reported around that was accurate.

    Been lamented often on here but Jose: 82 wRC+ Negative 0.3 WAR 24% K rate .693 OPS He was better with the Pirates in 2007 with a 97 wRC+. What a nightmare season. Too bad to see one of the best hitters we have ever had go out this way. I wonder if he is done. Will anyone give this guy 1/5 praying for a dead cat bounce?

    Statscast should be off the charts. That was a long way. Just an incredible catch. watched it with my kid 20 times.

    It's possible. Any offer he gets will be an insult to him I'm sure. He will have to be a lot more pragmatic than I expect he is. He is a shadow of the hitter he was and he has no mitt.

    I liked the 1 year deal but I didn't expect him to be this s*****. Rockin' a 87 wRC+ and negative 0.3 WAR season. BB% down and K% up. Just horrific.

    As much as I've cursed him over the last couple years he has been a solid find for our pen. He, Barnes, Leone and Biagini are some cheap gems this organization has developed.

    If they think they can get that kind of return for sure. They didn't before July 31st but if he keeps pitching like this through august it may happen. Have my doubts. If they can't I'd like to see him extended BTW big shot Jose. Big run.

    Marco getting some calls on the black. Nice set up on Judge. Hope he is back. Would love to extend him on a cheaper deal.

    Thanks bud. My son said his heart was hammering on him he was so excited yesterday. He won't stop babbling about it all to people. The look on his face was priceless. Friday night Alfredo Griffin tossed him a game ball. So all in all, aside from blowing the game on sat, it was fun time. Love the dome open games. On the flight to windsor last night to my wife's moms house we happened to be sitting with Drew Miller from the Detroit Red Wings. Super nice guy and we talked the whole way. He showed my son the video of him getting the skate to his face that opened him up a couple years ago. Scary. Added bonus to top off the day.

    At one point they said today Jays have 3 walk off slams in their history. We now have 4 and Pearce has 2 of those 4 in a 4 day span. That's odds against that happening are incredible.

    Stayed to the end today. Was worth it. Exciting come back. I was ripping at Gibby for leaving JD and Jose(less so) on the bench to that point in the inning and bam! Probably going to be our highlight of this tough season. Was fun to take in at the RC. The crowd was boisterous and still pretty impressive for the drubbing we had been taking to that point in the game.

    Go Jays. Just got to game and realized out OF D is Pearce Zeke and Jose. Holy f***. Liriano better keep it on the ground.

    Agreed. It's easy to forget this ^ when staring at what we paid in prospects and with what we are seeing in Tulo as this season unfolds.

    At this game right behind angels dugout. Hard to tell from here but Happ looks like he is getting squeezed by pussnuts. Amirite?

    There is little market value for Liriano right now anyway....they probably have to play it out for remainder of year. Be nice to find someone to take a chance on him and eat the remainder of his deal. He has had another rough year.

    Aside from plus D with Pillar the corners are pretty bad/slow. Zeke runs ok but has the baseball IQ of a chimp.

    lol. Couldn't stay away. We may pull this out yet. They do enough to keep me looking, but it can be torturous.
