    I think early is really irrelevant. It's another division L. I get peoples thinking - its a marathon - not a sprint. There is time. I'd rather not be into praying for a later in season scorching hot stretch again. 21 came up short as a result of early losses like last night. They happen to every team. But can't happen very often if you want to win. Team has some serious holes showing. Lack of Depth, LHH impact bat and the Yanks pen have what?...3/4 guys as good or better than Romano. Sliders to the 9 is a really bad sign for him.

    Reminds of me too much of last year. You could just feel those crippling losses building in the lack of stuff in the pen. Romano didn't have it tonight and he has survived quite a few outings with speaker wire and duct tape. He has never really had his 21 V consistently. We may have used up our '22 luck quota. Worse tonight because they fought back on offence. This pen and line up still needs work.

    Baseball. CLE. f***. The 1 game I thought we would probably struggle vs Beiber we W. lose 3. I like 1 run games a lot more when we win them. Oh well. Day off and then right back at it.

    Seems like it some days but 17-12 with this schedule, Teo and Jansen out. Berrios mostly being mediocre ish. It's been slow, but the ending is the best part.

    Manoah let's hope he settles in. Command struggles. Frustrating not to deliver the coup de grace the 1st. Or at least 3 on a sac fly. Need a DP here.

    lol. Ya me too. I miss Garth Iorg and Mustache Rance. Didn't Whitt and Buck also platoon at C. I think the point was we only have L v R and R v L 32% of the time which is lowest potential match up advantage since '74, and when its R v L its Zimm.

    Hard to argue that AA hasn't done a hell of a job in ATL. WS aside, they will be good for a sustained period with the quality of deals he has done.

    Fun Fact I heard today: Jays match up hitting "platoon advantage" is 32% due to RHH. Lowest level since 1974 data was collected. When we do have the "advantage" vs RHP its Tapia/Zimmer et al. FO obviously knows we need an impact LHH. Wonder who its going to be, and when. Josh Bell as a DH is a name floated. SH - Career wRC+ 117. Good not great and no D versatility. Curious what people think of that name?

    How many games did we miss the playoffs by last year again? Uno. I just ask myself in what world does it make sense to have Tapia get more PA's in a game than Vlad? There is no excuse for that in a W or L for us. On the FO and Charlie. This is a bizarro decision in 2022. Even if you apply the old school lead off hitter rationale, he isn't BBing, he is still K'ing 18% of the time and he is fast but not that fast. I think 60th percentile speed. His underlying numbers are better but still makes no sense.

    Bo gets another chance. We had couple shots to score with less than 2 outs runner at 3B. Erase those bad memories boys!

    Dunked? hmmm...Moi? Well if you are saying being concerned about his 2nd half in '21 and the start he has had for us this year at 3/36 wasn't worthy of being concerned and somewhat critical is dunking, I did. The one start tonight is just that. Good on him. I'll take it but i still saw a lot of things i didn't like. For the life of me I don't get the cutter usage reliance although it is coming down. WIP.

    I don't know when but they will come around. I have no doubts. Some LHH impact would be very helpful. I'm not talking Zimm or Tapia.
