    Link doesn't work. I don't use mlb tv, but what regions are the blackout? Is it total, I.e. no jays games at all, anywhere, the entire season?

    Kawasaki has a DAR of +1.0 per season. Fangraphs doesn't account for this.

    Lawrie is worth about -1.5 DAR per season. Stro/Donaldson are maybe -0.2 or -0.3.

    Yeah, that's a fake news headline. "Tommy John Surgery Not Needed" was added by the author. All that was said in real life was that they're optimistic. People with confirmed stage 4 cancer are optimistic. It's completely meaningless. Literally the only meaningful conclusion to draw from the article is that TJS is not yet 100% confirmed.

    Then all you're arguing is that the automatic walk is a less bad idea. You're still not justifying it. And in order for a walk to count, you actually have to physically throw the pitch 4 times. So by your logic, an automatic walk would actually become a delay-of-game. It always feels funny when your own argument is used against you, doesn't it?

    1/10 2/28 3/45 Shatkins might possibly have offered any or all of these. If Bautista doesn't accept any of them then nothing will happen.

    Because of the draft pick, this could be one of those rare backward situations a longer contract would imply a higher AAV for the player. 1/10 2/28 3/45 I think a 2 year deal is most likely at this point.

    Spending big money on good clothes is legit. But Canada Goose is not a smart buy. It's popular but not fashionable. You're paying for the Canadian labor and that's about it.

    I feel like the board has vastly improved since I joined. It used to feel like a douchey college frat boy hangout. Now it feels like a corporate boardroom with discussions about contract valuations and opportunity costs and people who actually know more than me for a change.

    Though the shittier the team, the less likely they are to sign him, right? Atlanta or Minnesota would have to lose damn near first overall pick in the draft, isn't that how it works?
