    '16 would appear to be the biggest improvement in the overall game since '08 to '09.

    You put him at 1B or DH and it isn't an issue. There really aren't any comparable's when it comes to Jose, outside of Ortiz (correct me if I'm wrong). His velocity off the bat and BB rate indicate he isn't regressing offensively and would age well over the course of the next 2 seasons.

    This is a s***** situation now with the deal dying because if Saunders health. So, now we don't get a bad power hitting healthy LF because our LF is damaged goods?

    We know Bruce has no problem staying healthy, so if Jacoby can help him at the plate again, we may have a decent bat.

    I don't get why someone would take Saunders. He's more valuable to your team than another team, but apparently not. Shapiro is pretty quick, realizing he might lose both Mexicans, he immediately acquires a power bat.

    It is a little odd to the think that Bautista doesn't have many comparable's, particularly if he has another typical season by his standards.

    Godfrey trying to tap into the younger generation, it was in 2004. You say that is if he was bad for majority of his career. He was bad in '07 and '09 and then had a great '10.

    Zaun was saying that you simply give Jose a qualifying offer because it'll be "like a 2 or 3 million dollar raise." implying "what else does Jose want?" f***ing face palm.

    I bought tickets for a few games earlier than I normally do, so I have some questions. I bought them on Feb 9 without even knowing about them going on sale the next day via Ticketcenter, how could I purchase them before they went on sale? And how come I haven't been charged for them yet? Why am I dumb also?

    Exactly. So, I guess Clemens career would've ended in '97 instead. My point is that he was still a monster prior.

    That is essentially the entire function of steroids. They allow you to heal faster so you can train harder and more frequently giving you quicker results.

    Halladay is no longer a practicing Mormon, but goddamn I wish he'd stay off twitter. It's warping my view of the perfect human that doubled as a father figure. Why the hell would he even tweet something so dumb? Right or wrong, keep your nose out of it. Also, insinuating that steroids alone kept Clemens in the league as if without steroids he would've been a AAAA player rather than someone who would've just had a great career instead of a HoF one shows me someone who has never taken them.

    Such a stupid argument. As I've been telling my dumb bandwagon friends; even if the Jays offer $28M AAV, think about how much money Price would be leaving on the table. No one was outbidding the Red Sox. Period. I'm not even sad he left as a pitcher, I'm actually more sad that David the "man" is gone. He was definition intangibles.
