  1. lmao, I saw something like this coming and to be honest, this is still more tolerable than a single letter being off.
  2. The capital L in the thread title bothers me so much.
  3. I guess another way to ask this question is to consider the impending CBA negotiations that will almost surely result in a lock out. Players are going to have a lot of demands while owners will be reluctant to give anything else up. If you're picking a side in the war of attrition between owners and players, who do you think is more entitled to what they're going to be asking for in the CBA?
  4. This is another divisive topic that most fans of baseball (and fans of sports in general) have passionate opinions on. Many fans are of the belief that players should shut up about salaries because they're already paid too much to play a kid's game. Others believe players are still underpaid relative to how much money the billionaire owners pocket and that the league and these revenue streams for these owners wouldn't exist if not for the players. Which side of the fence do you fall on? Do you think players make too much or not enough? Or you think they make about as much as they should? Why do you feel the way that you do? This is something I wanted to discuss now because it ties heavily into the topic I have in mind for next time.

  6. My guy sitting spread eagle with zero f***s to give on national TV.
  7. Makes sense for both sides. Guy already said he's okay joining a team as a part-timer in a "mentorship" role so he's probably not gonna make a stink if they barely play him. At the same time, the Dodgers link themselves to a legend and they gain a bunch of marketing power. Pujols gets his best chance at a ring on a team that can easily afford to sacrifice a roster spot.

  9. lol just what you need in this type of situation. An ump that wants to get home.
  10. That's a kick in the dick. Might be one of the unluckiest plays you could ever get in that situation. Should have been a hit and instead if completely bails out a trash pitcher.
  11. Both me and my wife have pretty serious anxiety disorders too, LOL. Like I said, I'm talking out of my ass but I just think he looks really anxious a lot of the time.
  12. This package of Sportsnet ads featuring this idiot guy with the coif might be the worst set of commercials I've ever seen. Every last one of then is irredeemible.
  13. I'm probably talking out of my ass but he looks like he has an anxiety disorder. If that's really the case, it's probably not really a matter of adjustment, it's just how feels in any given situation on any given day.
  14. Manoah is quintessentially my type of prospect. Atypical body, not a whole lot of fanfare but incredibly polished and already does everything he needs to. I like prospects that are good over prospects that should be good, even if the latter almost always have the higher ceilings. I love Pearson but Manoah is the most excited I've been about a pitcher in the Jays system since the Lansing 3.
