  2. lol at Panik getting a start over Semien and Espinal.
  3. I'm so stoked I found a fix for my comment toolbar issue. It's been like 3 years now where I couldn't see the tool buttons that help format posts or even use keyboard shortcuts (like Ctrl+B to bold text) so I've had to manually write all of the BBCode in all of my posts for that entire period of time to make things like game threads. That was one of the reasons why I wasn't as active on here anymore just because of how annoying it is to have to manually format everything. Today I made a new account on here and cross-referenced the settings page between that profile and this one and realized formatting was broken for me all this time because I was using the "Darker" forum theme. It used to be fine but I guess that functionality broke for that theme some time ago. Back to the default theme now and I finally see the toolbar again. It's beautiful.
  4. Prior to yesterday's game, the Blue Jays had the 27th ranked position player group in the majors (offense/defense) with a 92 wRC+ and 1.7 total team WAR. In a single game, they jumped up to the 18th spot with a 100 wRC+ and 2.6 total team WAR. Alejandro Kirk alone raised his wRC+ from 73 to 128. 6. I always sing that part out loud, not gonna lie. My wife even asked me to sing the song when the commercial came on just now but that's the only line I ever remember, lmao.
  7. Espinal at third against the Nats would have given the Jays a chance at sweeping that series.
  8. That ball off Kirk's bat sounded like a f***in pistol. What a beautiful sound.
  9. This is off-topic but what ever happened to GD? I just remembered that guy used to post on here a lot. Checked out his profile and he hasn't commented since 2018.
  10. Good call but I think the first post here should be the original one from Jerb: https://www.bluejaysmessageboard.com/threads/9553-General-Blue-Jays-Discussion-Thread-(2021)?p=1496949&viewfull=1#post1496949
  11. The MLB have added Roberto Alomar to the ineligible list and the Blue Jays are basically blacklisting their only Hall of Famer following an investigation into sexual misconduct. This was already discussed a bit in the General Blue Jays Discussion thread but this is big enough news to warrant it's own thread.
  12. Game #24 Atlanta Braves (Smyly) @ Toronto Blue Jays (Ray) Schedule | Standings | FanGraphs | News | Video | Spotlight | Twitter | Reddit | Instagram
  13. Janks really should have walked Mullins. Not only is the guy one of the hottest hitters in the majors, it would have put the double play into effect and given them more of a chance to get out of it. Inexcusable throw from Hicks either way.
  14. Mullins hits a fly ball, really not that deep, but Hicks makes an atrocious throw to home. Urias safe by a mile, Orioles walk off the Yankees and secure the series split.
  15. Orioles bunted over the free runner. Winning run on 3rd with 1 out. Don't mess this up, shitbirds.
  16. Sweet, the Athletics beat the Rays with a run in the top of the 9th. Need the O's to walk-off the Yankees now.
  17. Off-Day #5 Schedule | Standings | FanGraphs | News | Video | Reddit Yankees and Orioles cap a 4-game series at 1:05 PM The Yankees are up 2-1 in the series with the Orioles getting a chance to come out with a tie in the 4th game on Thursday afternoon. Blue Jays rival Rays take on AL monster A's at 1:10 PM The Tampa Bay Rays are also in the final game of a 4-game series, having already handed 2 losses to the AL West leading Oakland Athletics. Two young staff aces toe the rubber Aaron Nola (2.84 ERA, 32K) and the Philadelphia Phillies take on Kwang Hyun Kim and the St. Louis Cardinals at 1:15 PM. Carlos Rodon (0.47 ERA, 24K) and the Chicago White Sox take on Casey Mize and the Detroit Tigers at 5:10 PM. NL juggernauts face off at 7:40 PM The top two pitching staffs in the majors clash as Trevor Bauer gets the start for the Los Angeles Dodgers (#1 in the NL) to face off against the Milwaukee Brewers (#3 in the NL).
  18. Between BABIP and the umps, Matz has been robbed worse than any pitcher I've ever seen in a single game.
  19. Guerrero is legitimately one of the best defenders on the team, lmao.
