At the end of the day, it's a game of regression. The bullpen wasn't as good as it had been and isn't as bad as it is now. The Jays have had the toughest schedule in the majors, have (likely) lost the most man games to important players and just suffered a historically bad bullpen meltdown and are still at .500.
You can't blow a bunch of pen games if you aren't playing the other team closely for the most part and the Jays played what is now the #1 team in the AL very closely in this series. I know it's hard to see the light during stretches like this but chances are, this team is currently living what will be the worst point of their season.
Even with all the negativity I'm still kinda expecting them to s*** all over the Yankees in this coming series.
