Read this yesterday, and the most significant thing I found in that piece was the possibility of an NFL team in Toronto. If there's absolutely any merit to that, I'd flip out.

I don't think there's really any merit at all in predicting the 2nd round pick. Jays always go off-book and do weird things after the first round (and sometimes even in the first round; see: Beede, Bickford). All I really care about is getting Hoffman. If the Jays pick him up, they could do anything else for the rest of the draft and I'll be happy -- which is pretty much how I felt about Giolito as well. In the perfect world, they'll pick Hoffman, and do so with the 11th pick. There's a lot of guys that I like at 9, so I'm hoping that they go with BPA instead of tunneling on a player and over-reaching, something that they haven't been unfamiliar with in recent years. The thing I'm most dreading, though, is the prospect of a great player dropping to them, and seeing the Jays pass.

Your Metallijay ID is literally the only user on this entire forum that has ever used the term "Pedrora" in reference to "Pedroia", prior to the recent instances of people simply quoting you on it. Except these cases aren't like that; absolutely nobody else has ever used those specific spellings besides the accounts in question. The fact that you think I've been "whining like a baby in every thread for weeks" further proves my point that you're a dupe. I've never talked to you on your current account ever before, this is actually the first time I've even posted on this board in a significant while. The only way you could be under the assumption that you've had any type of conversation with me in the past means that you've mentally blurred the lines between your several accounts and are going off another one of your previous handles. I agree with you, that it should be taken to the admins instead of exhausted in every single thread, but I personally will not be the one doing the forwarding, because I have seen forum mods get involved in these very discussions, and I know that they are full-well aware of the situation. It's unfortunate that people like Metallijay constantly spit on the leniency of our moderators, because I know for a fact that if he fixed his behavior, even if the mods knew it was him on a new account, they wouldn't bother him. Most forums will ban you outright, immediately after you make a new account simply because there is zero tolerance for duplicate accounts. Even for posters that are active and not banned, dupes are just completely frowned upon. This website allows people a lot more freedom, for better or worse, and instead of using that freedom to better themselves and make fruitful use of their second and third chances, these guys don't change, which is why they constantly derail threads, are so widely disliked, and are banned over and over again.

700+ posts? How do you miss your post count by 200, after only two weeks? Anyways, you say that we can find similarities for everyone? So if we look hard enough, we'll find "virgins", "keyboard warriors", "fag", "pedrora", "buccholtz", "Whiskey", "get a life", "quite frankly pathetic", and "obsessed" all in the same vocabulary of another person on this forum? Care to help us find this other extraordinary personality? Don't say "Metallijay", because we all already knew that one.

No, I'm not talking about you, I apologize for not making myself clear on that. I don't think anyone took that post of yours seriously and there was no "issue" with it, some of us just had a small laugh about the immature undertone of an otherwise innocent post. The thing I was talking about was a different event with a different poster.

I don't know if my post was misunderstood or if you were agreeing with me, but yes I agree with you. I know I myself am pretty outspoken and have disgruntled many a jimmies in my time here, but I was welcomed here pretty openly as well, despite not having been on the previous forum. I don't believe this whole stick about every new poster being thrown under a microscope and inspected to see if they're a banned troll or not. People who don't draw so much attention to themselves will fly under the radar and will generally be welcomed peacefully. If morons like Metallijay understood that fact, they could easily make a new dupe account, repair their behavior, and get along with everyone without anyone ever knowing the poster that they used to be. Unfortunately, someone with so severe an emotional disorder like him is incapable of peaceful coexistence, which is why he will always resort to his old ways, will always be outed as a lowlife troll, and will always be alienated from everyone else.

There's a significant amount of proof that was dug up by Candy and others. He has the exact same typographic tendencies as a guy who's already been banned several times (they both spell Pedroia as "Pedrora", Buccholz as "Buccholtz" and capitalize the "W" in "whiskey" mid-sentence). He also has the exact same behavior as the one he showed in his previous accounts, by trolling people en masse and using homophobic slurs when he gets cornered.

It's just that freak Metallijay that's bullying him around. Most people here don't have a problem with CF, or any other new posters, the only time those "suspicions" arise is when those new posters begin blatantly trolling right off the bat and make it obvious that they're not actually new at all, they're just dupes of trolls that have already been banned. Yeah there are the rare exceptions like when someone with a female display picture starts talking about how they like blowjobs, but anyone doing that is very much expecting to get roasted by everybody else; they can cry about getting ganged up on later, but they get what they ask for.

Stop feeding that sociopathic mongoloid. The best thing you can do about that situation is ignore him and let him continue to wallow in his own self-loathing for the rest of his lonely miserable life. The guy's made a countless number of accounts to force himself into a board full of people who hate him, if that doesn't already reek with issues, then you can probably draw a conclusion from the fact that he's made more than 900 posts in less than a month, with an approval rating of 1 in 83 posts, and the majority of that content being one long drawn-out projection of self-pity.

Don't see any chance Beede drops to 49, and have a strange hunch that Turner is gonna go before 9, just because the player the Jays want always gets robbed right before their pick (Lawrie, Giolito, Meadows, etc, etc)

I did, last August, to prepare for my pre-firefighter training, and yes it was incredibly hard at first, but after about a week it became surprisingly easy, and carb-heavy or sugar-heavy food items started to actually disgust me. I lost 23 pounds in that month alone (213 to 190).

Most forums do have an option to disable signatures: http://i.gyazo.com/0eec792fa2afee0d0ded34587c48ae3a.png So if we could get them implemented with a similar option, I don't think it would harm or irritate anybody, while making the forum more diverse and letting people customize their profiles and posts further.

@Admin: Any chance we see image-friendly signatures and better emoticons in the future? Most vBulletin forums I'm on have the set of animated emoticons that include things like these (http://i.imgur.com/py2PxcN.gif http://i.imgur.com/RN70TUF.gif http://i.imgur.com/FA2CI9v.gif http://i.imgur.com/GkHkVKq.gif?1 http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/5176/smileyexcited002.gif), so I assume they might not be that hard to incorporate, but I'm unsure as to whether or not it'll cost money to add them.

Admins are required to pay for new emoticons? Wasn't aware of that. Anyways, I just donated to WrestlingForum and spent money on a few online games, so I can't donate now, but I'll try to chip something in later.

I'm going to continue using emoticons that are available on every other forum until we get some decent ones here, as a silent protest. Our current emoticons suck
