  1. What a catch by Gose. Though I'm positive he could have easily done that on the double before Myers' home run as well.
  2. You can't have an open air stadium in Toronto.
  3. Doesn't matter how much of a shithole it is, it's still permanently ingrained in Jays history. Both WS wins came there, Carter home run came there, Halladay's HoF case was made there, Delgado's 4-homer game, Bautista's 50-homer season, it's all always going to be tied to the Dome, regardless of how much fans want to hate on it. It's still worth at least a mention and a s***** towel giveaway or something. If anything, they coulda used the occasion to sell a few extra tickets.
  4. lamelaza (Reyes), the GIF doesn't do it justice, the sound made it hilarious.
  5. On June 3, 2014, the SkyDome will be 25 years old. Did anyone else miss the memo, or am I the only one that just found out? Knowing Rogers and Beeston's mission to "sell entertainment" you'd think they'd have marketed this a little more. This link is seriously the only thing I've seen on it. I don't know, maybe nobody else cares about it, but seeing how much the Fenway and Wrigley 100 year anniversaries were so celebrated, you'd think they might have at least mentioned the Dome or done a giveaway relating to it, on or close to that date.
  6. That's the greatest thing on the internet, http://i.imgur.com/RN70TUF.gif Can you embed instagram/vine videos like that on this forum yet?
  7. I'm very happy that they don't. Teams like the Rays and Cardinals would win every world series.
  8. I like this whole first pitch thing going on over there. Might move to Korea.
  9. I really like what I've read about Nola, but Gordon is not making it past the 5th pick unless someone drops. Still don't see him making it to #9, regardless.
  10. Baseball America now has him going 2nd overall. Don't see a scenario in which he falls to the Jays. #9 will depend heavily on what has already been taken off the board, but expect a lot of decent options at that pick. Hoffman at #11, and it's not close (barring any ridiculous unforeseen drops).
  11. That really is not a legitimate reason for your premise. Nobody in Toronto has any reason to care about the Bills.

  14. Those don't count. The CFL is basically a beer league.

  17. I wish I could thank my own post for this one.
  18. Anybody else find this garbage hilarious? Maybe (probably) it's because he's been obsessed with the Jays lately and seemingly every one of his new clips focuses on them at least in some capacity, or maybe it's the vulgarity with which he shits on clubs doing poorly, or the fact that he just shits on the Red Sox in general, but I've quite liked his latest clips after just discovering this whole "High Heat" segment in the past few days. I mean don't get me wrong, the guy's a f***ing mongoloid, but something about the whole "eccentric crack-fiend / blatant 80s caricature" of it all is incredibly entertaining (at least to me), and he's made me laugh out loud several times in just these last two "Brushbacks". If you are looking to take a serious, analytical approach to this, these videos aren't for you. If you want to get a laugh at an absurd, almost-wish-it-was-satire look on baseball, while simultaneously getting your homerism chubs stroked and hearing the guy s*** on all of the Jays' recent opponents, then this is definitely going to be worth your time. May 23 - The Brushback - http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/7417714/v33093899/high-heat-the-brushback/?query=high%2Bheat Highlights 2:35 -- "Texas is a mess. You can kiss Texas goodbye! I don't care what Shoe (Choo) does, I don't care what Beltre does at third base, I'm not interested in Andrus, they are DONE, KAPUT, FINISHED -- in that division, we'll see ya in spring training in Surprise, March of 2015" 3:45 -- Segment where he sucks off the Blue Jays 8:05 -- Segment where he drops a dirty steaming s*** on the poor Padres 9:35 -- "So San Di-- HIT THE BOAWLL!!" May 28 - The Brushback - http://m.mlb.com/video/?content_id=33212997&topic_id=vtp_mlb_network&query=high%20heat Highlights 0:00 -- Segment on Blue Jays 4:00 -- Segment on the brawl between the Red Sox and Rays; Drops an angry s*** on the Red Sox 7:00 -- Segment on the Mets firing their hitting coach; Drops the most obscenely rage-filled s*** I've ever seen in a sports segment on the Mets and Alderson. 8:10 -- "Let me ask you a question; Did the '27 Yankees have a hitting coach? Alright, how 'bout the Gashouse Gang? How 'bout DaMazjdgio!?! How 'bout the FIFTAH YANKEES?!?! How 'bout the 75 Reds, with Morgan, Bench, Perez, Griffey, anananwahallthose, ROSE, allthose-- NOOOOO!!! The hitting coach in baseball is so over-rated it's absurd!" May 28 - Consolation interview with Muck Bartinez because they couldn't get Alex to come onto the "show" - http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/7417714/v33212999/buck-martinez-joins-high-heat/?mlbtax=undefined Highlights 4:10 -- Drops a quick s***, into a subject-changing sidestep, on Buck in response to Buck implying that hitting coaches hold a significance in baseball 0:00 -- Buck refers to him as simply "dog" several times throughout the interview.
