  1. Angel had the game of his life.
  2. Of all the days to not DH Kirk, this is certainly one of them.
  3. This type of hit regularly annihilates and injures football players, who are jacked, wearing protective gear head to toe and usually see/anticipate the hits coming. The fact that the kid got up and still finished his home run trot is wild. He was completely blindsided with a better spear than you'll see in pro wrestling.
  4. A few people on reddit noticed that the umpire starts walking between the two players when the hitter is between second and third so it's pretty likely that the guy chirped the pitcher with something. But yeah, either way, that's a nut job reaction.
  5. Can find the video directly here, it's trending on Reddit: Good example of what an actual psychopath on a baseball field looks like.
  6. Yeah, I assumed as much. He can feel free to take over posting the GDTs if he wants, I really don't mind. Not going to waste my time making threads if I don't know whether or not another one's been created. I'm not unblocking that sad little douche just because he's throwing a tantrum.
  7. One of the more hilarious baseball-adjacent stories you'll read this year. I'm not going to link the whole thread, just the first and last tweet in it (because it's funnier that way): Click on either of the tweets to read the whole thread.
  8. Ah I get it. I'm guessing from the lack of comments in here and the dead link that Term made a GDT today. What a juvenile attention whore, lmao.
  9. Game #12 Toronto Blue Jays (Berrios) @ Boston Red Sox (Pivetta) Schedule | Standings | FanGraphs | News | Video | Spotlight | Twitter | Reddit | Instagram
  10. That's why I was so mad. I picked up Keuchel for a spot start in my H2H fantasy league (lmao) and his outing was like 3x as bad because of how disgusting their defense was.
  11. I was watching, they should have been charged with more errors. They are f***ing atrocious. Looked like a little league team.
  12. What if the trade was just Wainwright/Ozuna for Kershaw/Sanchez? That's pretty much how I look at it because I was going to lose Gray (or a similar value player) at some point anyway. Didn't really have space on my roster to bring him back from the IL.
  13. The other guy got cold feet on trading Mookie so that one didn't happen haha. But I made a couple more trades today. Thoughts? Received: Kershaw (88.6 points) Received: Sanchez (75.5 points) Sent: Wainwright (73.0 points) Sent: Ozuna (81.3 points) Sent: Gray (10.3 points) Received: Berrios (-28.83 points) Sent: Hendricks (46.17 points) I feel like I raised my ceiling but gave up floor. I'm comfortably #1 in the league right now so I might have taken on an unnecessary amount of risk.
  14. Is there really a big enough speed difference between Biggio and Collins where you justify taking Collins' bat out of the lineup with two outs?
  15. Vladdy has to have the most brutal strike zone in the major leagues this season.
  16. Bichette had years to throw that, why didn't he set before throwing it? Added the sauce for no reason.
  17. More hilarious Sox fan reactions after Kikuchi made that next play:
  18. So... Kikuchi for gold glove? Guy is a lot more pleasing to watch as a defender than he is as a pitcher.
