  1. One shred of optimism regarding Teoscar's injury: He's had an oblique injury in the past and he came back as soon as the minimum 10-day IL stint was up.

  3. Yeah lol, the only thing I'm iffy about is if I really needed Semien with my middle infield depth. That said, I was pretty strong at OF as well. Here's my roster: And the scoring rules:
  4. Can't believe we've already seen our first Tapia, Biggio, Zimmer lineup of the season less than a week of games into it. Imagine if they pinch-run Kirk in this game and Collins squeezes his way in there too.
  5. Made this trade a few minutes ago. Thoughts? Not a keeper/dynasty, just a regular H2H Weekly league.
  6. lol, now this is probably a "me" issue but I actually like engaging with people and reading replies. I don't just want to shout my own opinions into the void, I want to learn and hear what other people think too. It's probably a bad habit with how much negativity exists in sports fandom but I try to do the same on reddit as well, even when there are hundreds of replies on my posts. It helps me understand people and helps me understand the sport itself better. Just in the last few weeks there have been like six instances on here where someone corrected me or made me see something in a different way. And I appreciate that. I'm just past the point where I want to keep people who are trolling or being deliberately antagonistic in my periphery. It's a waste of time reading or replying to those comments.
  7. Speaking of raging on, here's the back of today's New York Post, lmao.
  8. I'm just saying, that's a pretty specific description you have there in your imagination. Kinda sounds like projecting. Is that what you looked like when you had your "outburst" against JF? Speaking of which, "rage on" is kind of a weird thing to say to someone that just decided to block the other guy and move on. Feels like you really want someone to rage. Is there rage inside of you, Max?
  9. Sounds like you might have some of your own issues you need to iron out.
  10. Blocking someone who is being a persistent nuisance is having a meltdown? Mkay.
  11. Maybe it's just that time of the month for you. Either way, considering I get like five quote notifications from you each day at this point and they're pretty much all shitposts, I'm just going to block you now so I'm not wasting any more of my time reading your verbal diarrhea. Congrats on popping my ignore list cherry though! I made it almost 10 years on this site without using it, which makes you a pretty special boy.
  12. I don't know how you went from being one of the likeable people on this site to becoming by far the most annoying person on the forum in such a short time but it has to be a record. Impressive.
  13. Jays confirmed Stripling for Friday. Why did they have to ruin the Jackie Robinson day game? That's the one I'm most definitely going to.
  14. Okay but seriously, if Teoscar is out for a while, it might be a good time for that Michael Conforto flyer. (Should have signed Seiya Suzuki.)
  15. Might be a good time to sign Conforto, Atkins!
  16. Superstar player makes it back to the field after an injury scare and there are 0 cheers from the Yankees crowd. Not surprised that these same frumpy ****s that were just chanting "I hate Canada" have no consideration for that type of stuff.
  17. If he's okay and can stay in this game, the bloody uniform will make for some badass photos.
  18. For what it's worth, I predicted out loud in my living room earlier tonight that Vladdy is going to hit five home runs in this game. So if that happens, you can credit me.
  19. There are even times when he's doing his video blogs or his live Q&A things where he almost seems personable. It's mostly his written persona that's extremely obnoxious. Plus I just realized he looks and sounds exactly like the guy who was responsible for shutting down our writing department and laying off me and my whole team at work a few weeks ago, so I have a new layer of disdain for him.
  20. There's no worse feeling than getting repetitively ratio'd by a dumb douchebag who is very obviously incorrect to anyone with half a mind. Happens to me often on reddit but I'm glad I've never experienced it on Twitter, which is so much worse.
  21. I mean in general, it's what gets brought up every time when an automatic strike zone is being discussed, both from fans and from people who cover baseball. "Well aykchually, robo umps still aren't perfect." Well no, but they're still a thousand times better than the garbage we have now.
  22. Game #6 Toronto Blue Jays (Berrios) @ New York Yankees (Cole) Schedule | Standings | FanGraphs | News | Video | Spotlight | Twitter | Reddit | Instagram
