  1. Sent: Austin Hays (135.9 points, 5.4 FP/G, #4 LF, #81 overall) Chris Taylor (103.3 points, 4.9 FP/G, #7 2B, #190 overall) Received: Trea Turner (96.2 points, 4.2 FP/G, #13 SS, #225 overall) Julio Rodriguez (80.3 points, 3.2 FP/G, #15 CF, #306 overall) I drafted Chris Taylor in the 14th round and picked up Hays in a 1-for-1 trade earlier today where I sent out Jesus Sanchez. Trea Turner was drafted 3rd overall and Julio was my own free agent claim earlier in the season before I sent him away in a deal for Marcus Semien. Someone please tell me I won this trade, lol. I thought I won in a landslide when I made the deal but I looked at Turner's Savant page after the fact and it made me cringe a bit. Is Turner a pumpkin now?
  2. Austin Hays or Teoscar Hernandez in a saber league with no runs or RBI? Would appreciate a quick response if anyone's around. I'm guessing it's Teo and not close but Hays might be breaking out.
  3. I'm 100% starting him on Saturday, lmao. He actually hasn't had a negative points performance yet this season and is pitching against the Reds next. If they actually break out of their slump against him, I'll consider it as me having given the Reds organization a charity donation. Until DeGrom and Heaney are back from my IL, I'm using the two open spots on my roster to stream pitchers every day. Keller felt like the best bet for Saturday out of the available options.
  4. I had been trying to get Vladdy for Olson since I started in this league (even though Olson had been better so far). Guy was the most hesitant owner to make trades in the league. Would not accept a straight 1-for-1 and even refused all of my Olson+1 offers. Today he told me he'd definitely say yes if I could get him Travis d'Arnaud. So I flipped Collins + Rich Hill for d'Arnaud and then Olson + d'Arnaud for Vladdy. I had picked up Rich Hill in free agency for a spot start earlier today and he scored 40+ points for my team against the guy who I just sent him to, lol. I was about to drop him anyway. I think I "lose" both of the above trades in their own vacuums but I immediately followed up the two trades with free agent claims on Ryan Jeffers and Mitch Keller. I think I'm pretty happy with how it all turned out. Out: Olson, Collins, Hill In: Vladdy, Jeffers, Keller
  5. Except for the front office. Which is all that matters. Don't blame Montoyo, blame the people that employed him and continuously extend him.
  6. It's wild to think this team started the season with that insane clutch 3-run shot from Teoscar on opening day and this is what they've done since for a whole month.
  7. This team is elite at finding the worst possible scenario for every out. Who the f*** pops up straightaway to the second baseman? Bo Bichette does with a guy on third base. The sequencing has just been brutal all season so far.
  8. Holy f***, they scored more than two runs.
  9. Tells you what other managers think of this current Blue Jays offense when this bum Civale is still out there on 92 pitches.
  10. lol who the f*** is Casey Lawrence? Montoyo doing the right here and punting the game because he knows this ragged team can't score more than 2 right now.
  11. "He can't get back to third base." That's because he was ball-watching and standing still.
  12. Rocket Raimel SOARS into right field!... to take his defensive positioning after he hit a lazy .010 xBA flyout to end the inning with a runner on third.
  13. Nice lineup composition right here. Would have been illegal to move Bo and Vladdy up a spot.
  14. .620 xBA on the Kirk lineout. .640 xBA on his flyout earlier. .780 xBA on that Collins lineout earlier. Baseball is so fun...
  15. This is so annoying, lol. https://www.espn.com/mlb/insider/insider/story/_/id/33854347/why-jose-ramirez-left-millions-table-stay-cleveland-guardians Why did the one guy to do this have to be the superstar third baseman that was a perfect fit for this team and was actively being pursued in a trade...
  16. Might be your lamest comment ever and that's saying something. PayPal, Venmo and CashApp exist for a reason, old man. Finding out that you have no conviction and can't back up any of the s*** you spew might be the least surprising development of the day.
  17. Why do Tapia, Heinemen and Zimmer have to have the best walk-up music on the team?
  18. Devon Travis and to a much lesser extent Eric Thames (first 95 PA season) both match that description as well. Late bloomers that came up from minors and mashed for a bit.
  19. Dead ball robbing Capra of a homer on his first big league hit smh.
  20. Yankees: 9 hits, 9 runs. Blue Jays: 8 hits, 1 run. Tale of the tape right there.
  21. That may actually be the worst ballpark I have ever seen.
  22. And then he comes back throwing 103. I've never seen someone throw that kind of heat so effortlessly. I genuinely believe he is who Aroldis Chapman was right before his breakout. But I like Duran a lot more than I ever liked Chapman. So glad I got him for so cheap in my H2H league.
