  1. You should want Gohara, his stuff is amazing and he projects like an SP3 in what will be his first full season. C.C. Sabathia anyone? No way I'm trading any of those guys for a Mejican with 60 professional games though.
  2. Acuna just destroyed the three highest levels in the minors as a 19 year old, and he only got better as he went. It would be nearly inexcusable to put a pitcher over him, no matter how unique Ohtani is.
  3. I'm open to it as long as it's not for Honeywell, Buehler and probably Gohara whom I love.
  4. 13. Walker Buehler 14. Brent Honeywell 23. Luiz Gohara 40. Keibert Ruiz 51. Leody Taveras 52. Cal Quantrill 58. Luis Robert (I don't agree with him being this low) 65. Kolby Allard 69. Mitchell White 94. Andres Gimenez
  5. I don't know about the ++, but Yelich is a 26 year-old 4 win player signed cheaply until 2021, you absolutely make the deal if the Marlins ask for Bo + some lottery tickets. Unless the team projects Bo to be Correa-lite, highly unlikely, you have to be open to this kind of deal.
  6. It's a perfectly reasonable deal from both sides. The Cards had a logjam in the OF after their acquisition of Ozuna, so they traded a guy with flaws in his game for a flamethrowing prospect whom they'll hope to fix and a reliever who was excellent as recently as last year to bolster their depleted bullpen. The Jays moved a risky prospect with terrible results and high bust chance plus a reliever who randomly had a great year following two brutal ones for a controllable OF who runs and plays defense well and big power upside with the bat.
  7. Lies! Vlad and Bo won't be eligible by then!
  8. He more than likely would not crack the top 10 as a hitter only, probably top 50 at best. He's there because of his arm and the fact that yes, he offers the ability to hit at a decent level every now and then.
  9. Have a couple of solid offers in for Zach Davies. Get your bids in before he's moved, likely later today.
  10. I literally turned the game off at that point. I couldn't handle that level of incompetence, it's frustrating how often the Raptors have to play 5 on 8. Respect is a BS thing when it comes to officiating but you'd think one of the best teams in the league for the past 3 years would get some every now and then.
  11. Minnesota is getting every f***ing call, it's such ********.
  12. I specifically targeted him from Abom for a 4th round pick back in mid-October. I'm all in on this guy.
  13. I think we should all be aboard the Tim Mayza bandwagon if you're not there already. He looked filthy in his few appearances this past year. 27:4 K/BB ration in 17 innings!!!
  14. I'm the biggest Leone fanboy on this board, but to say he was a very very steady reliever is extremely misleading. He had one excellent year this season, previously he had been below replacement level for two seasons. Sure, you could attribute some of those struggles to injury, but as a pitcher if you've struggled with injury before what's not to say you won't again? He could be just as bad as he was the previous two seasons or just as good as this year, such is the nature with non-elite relievers. We'll probably find another of his ilk this season. When you can trade a non-established guy like him along with a lottery ticket soon-to-be-converted prospect for an average (or better) starting OF with CF experience with control, you don't think too much about it.
  15. I don't visit the baseball subreddits but most of the fans there are really really dumb. King sent me a link to the mlb subreddit the day the Rockies signed Wade Davis and everyone was fawning over the move, quoting "another elite bullpen" lmao. They're terrible.
  16. That is one great interview, amazing job on both sides.
  17. Assets to move: Zach Davies Andrew Heaney Tim Anderson Joe Mauer Mike Montgomery Jason Heyward Curtis Granderson Carter Capps - for those of you living in the past Jurickson Profar - see above Mallex Smith - speed just went for Blake Rutherford, he gets on base more than Billy Hamilton Josh Fields? Delvin Perez Cal Quantrill
  18. Lol reasonable RP f*** off. Pillar is a much better asset than some s***** volatile reliever.
  19. I think you're missing KK's point. It's not whether he has a track record or not, it's the fact that if you're going to roll the dice on a reliever, it's always better to get the high strikeout ones and hope they can figure out where the ball is going as the season goes along. Strikeouts are a big deal in relievers, and Alburquerque gets them in bunches, that's exactly the kind of guy you take a flier on. Franklin Morales was just awful and Gavin Floyd was an oft-injured starter, they're not comparable at all.
  20. Knowing him he's probably eager to participate lol.
  21. Please don't get yourself banned in the middle of the LOD draft.
  22. I disagree on the bullpen. It's not elite but it's not horrible either.
