  1. Well Lowry carried us in the 4th but missed two crucial free throws, terrible way to lose.
  2. Man Kyle Lowry is good.
  3. I just saw this. He was taking AWFUL shots lol, I was getting so pissed when he banked in two heavily contested fadeaway jumpers, talk about getting lucky.
  4. Certainly helps that he got a massive bonus when he was signed and he can afford to take things slowly. Good for him, sucks to struggle and be labeled a bust but he has a degree from a top school and millions of dollars to show for it.
  5. In the Yankees' case they could definitely use Darvish, they don't have a lot of depth. Severino is great, Tanaka and Gray are solid but both have question marks/red flags and then there's not much behind them, although of course their bullpen is ridiculous. The Dodgers really don't need Darvish, they have all kinds of pitching depth, but much like the Astros if they can improve one of their starters to one of Darvish's level and use the others as trade bait they'll do so, and they actually have the money to afford it.
  6. I wouldn't trade him for Vlad either but you could make a strong case moving him for Bo would be sensible. It's still not just Honeywell though, the Rays are pretty stacked.
  7. Uh, okay so that just means he's just that much closer lol. Doesn't take away his prospect status. He's probably only second to Ohtani in MLB ready prospect status, and it could be argued that he has an edge due to the culture change stuff.
  8. A lot of it is also proximity. A bunch of the Rays' top guys are at AA or AAA, while Bo and Vlad are 19 and 18 respectively having played their highest level at A+.
  9. Impressive transition for the Angels. Obviously signing Ohtani and Maitan helped a lot, but the emergence of Adell, Jahmai Jones and Brandon Marsh really helped solidify their position.
  10. To GD: Yasmani Grandal MiLB 38 To me: Anthony Alford Bryan Mata MiLB 71
  11. Fyi, GD has Albert Almora on both his MiLB and MLB rosters. I believe he should only be in the latter.
  12. Or he could reinjure his knee again and play 300-400 PA of average production as a 34 year old. Which is fine, but hard to buy into.
  13. Damnit you're right. It's from here https://padres.mlblogs.com/padres-on-deck-top-prospects-gore-baez-continue-excellent-pitching-runs-eb6a357bcaf2
  14. It's possible I'm talking about another player than you, but I'm going off of this: That looks like Morejon and Quantrill is a RHP.
  15. This, he won't be a worthwhile MLB DH either and the Angels won't risk playing him in the OF, he'll be SP only.
  16. Love that for you. Surprised Dinger would even do that, he seemed high on Honeywell but maybe that was just because he owned him here lol.
  17. Looks like Adrian Morejon to me.
  18. How will it work for the waiver draft though? If the Ohtani owner has just one roster spot through the cut they still can't use all of their waiver picks so that they'll have 25 MLB players because of the player and hitter versions each occupying one spot.
  19. Phillips has an 80 arm so I don't think they'd entertain that either.
  20. Did the Indians rebrand or something?
  21. lol wut, Acuna behind Eloy and Robles? And Ohtani would almost definitely not be the 4th best OF prospect.
  22. Close game in the 4th so the refs are beginning to take over as usual.
  23. Scherzer and Kluber are not like the others imo. I agree the price Ohtani will go for will likely far exceed his actual value.
  24. Wat If he's pitching and is also in the lineup then he's hitting as the SP lmao. That's always the way it's been. The DH hits for the pitcher, and it's lost if the pitcher is hitting.
  25. Man that Lucroy trade for the Rangers looks so bad. Brinson and Luis Ortiz for half a decent year which amounted to nothing plus one garbage one and a no-name prospect to show for it.
