  1. Lol what? The high fastball is one of the most used pitches in baseball, it's good for pop ups and swings and misses. There's absolutely no way you're eliminating that pitch from your mind in that scenario. Hitting is not as easy as you're making it out to be, you can be looking for someone down at the knees and get thrown an enticing fastball up or a changeup outside to disrupt your timing. If Galvis was looking for a pitch inside he got a bunch of sliders that look just like it for 50% of the path home before it crashes down to his feet.
  2. I assume you have LetTheBallFly on ignore?
  3. Yeah that's a ball, but it's too close to take.
  4. With a 5 man infield you have to focus on elevating the ball as simply making contact won't necessarily end the game. Hitting in the MLB is really hard.
  5. I mean yes, obviously he should have made contact but the pressure of the situation combined with good pitching throws any kind of game plan that you have out the window. Also with a 5 man infield he really had to focus on driving the ball and not just putting the bat on the ball for a weak dribbler. I didn't see anyone berating Mookie Betts for striking out against Tim Mayza yesterday with the bases loaded and 1 out. Good pitching prevailed then, and it did on Galvis' AB.
  6. He got thrown a bunch of good sliders, it wasn't a good AB but it's not like Walden was bouncing pitches three feet in front of him. Sometimes you're allowed to give the opposition some credit. The slider on the strikeout pitch in particular was nasty, started out around the bottom of the zone and had a ton of depth to it.
  7. Just missed it. Drury's had some very good at-bats, it's interesting to see him finally go to the pull side with more authority.
  8. Those were some really good sliders, obviously would have liked Galvis to adjust but it is what it is.
  9. I feel like that's either out or inconclusive.
  10. Detroit to CF, Oakland at night, San Francisco to RF-CF and the ball might not even leave the park. There's probably a homerun robbery in there that brings the xBA down from 1.000
  11. He's the Kyle Lowry of the C position. Constantly making the right plays on both ends, elite basketball IQ, just makes the offense flow.
  12. Great call by Nurse to immediately take out his important players as soon as Milwaukee raised the white flag.
  13. Good timeout, end this mini-run immediately.
  14. Norman Powell deserves this over the ******** fouls from last game. VanVleet has awakened.
  15. This is incredible.
  16. Wow we sat Kawhi Leonard for a minute and the team still remembered how to play basketball! Ibaka and Lowry are causing nightmares on the glass for the Bucks.
  17. It's nice to have a semblance of a bench for once. Powell and Ibaka have been outstanding and VanVleet even made more than one shot!
  18. So Giannis just went elbow first into Siakam who was outside of the restricted area and the latter got called for the foul after being barreled over. Okay.
  19. Marc Gasol is putting on a passing clinic. Superb defense to go along with it as well.
  20. Few people look as much like an actual fish as Mike Budenholzer.
  21. Thank you Serge, he's been immense on both ends.
  22. Love it, made Betts and Moreland look foolish. He's got such great stuff.
  23. Pat Tabler makes me wish Tabler would never come back.
