    It's incredible that Danny Jansen and his 45 wRC+ (lol) isn't even one of the players with negative WAR. In fact he's been roughly our fourth best position player, the guy has been a rock behind the dish. We also have a league worst BABIP and it's not particularly close to second worst. Our line drive rate and fangraphs' hard hit% are both exactly around middle of the pack, although our soft hit% is quite high. It's not just that everyone is underperforming, we're also having historically awful luck which is turning an already terrible season into a gong show.

    I don't think we're talking enough about Jackxarel Lebron in the 16th round. What a name that is.

    Craig Stammen gave up 4 homeruns in a row today. Probably ruined a lot of fantasy players' Sundays with that one. Season ERA jumps by a full run, FIP nearly 1.5 runs.

    I assume since both parties accepted the trade that Chubs is confirming the deal, so I've processed it on the sheet. However since there is a minor league portion I'd appreciate an official confirmation just to be safe.

    DSJ, the 26 year-old replacement level outfielder and Chris Rowley the 28 year-old with a 1.22 K/BB and a 11.02 ERA/8.50 FIP/7.40 xFIP in AAA? Man if those are some of the only bad moves that come to mind as a GM then Ross Atkins better be in contention for Executive of the Year.

    His average fastball velocity this year is 98, he's not gonna be consistently above 100 anymore but he still has plenty of gas.

    Chapman's slider is so filthy, it shouldn't be fair that a guy that throws that hard also has another wipeout pitch that's 13-16 mph slower.

    Have you seen some of our outfielders this season? It's totally possible to be that bad.

    2021 is way too ambitious, I'd be very surprised if he spent less than two full seasons in the minors, and most likely he'll need 3 to really become polished.

    This was his first start in Buffalo, not sure if he's just filling in for an injured pitcher. His numbers in Dunedin were pretty underwhelming given his age, not a lot of strikeouts.
