  1. Ignore that part, I worded that poorly, but yeah the fact that Bo will be 21 for the duration of the season is important. Those numbers are actually super impressive, the age is a huge consideration. Being an above average hitter in the minors when you're like 4-5 years younger than the average player is huge and makes a big difference for projecting future MLB success. Here's a good, albeit slightly dated article from the Radio Scouts' blog predecessor that does some analysis on this, might be what you're looking for. You should use it as sort of a rule of thumb more than anything, it's obviously not perfect. http://www.breakingblue.ca/2014/02/04/projecting-hitting-prospects-mlb-primes/
  2. I don't really have time to answer your question, I'm sure someone will, but I'd like to point out that Bo Bichette is one of three players in AAA that are 21 years old with 50+ PAs. He's the youngest player in the International League at that cutoff, and considering the fact that he's a March birthday it basically means he's a full year younger than anyone else achieving that. Other 21 year olds in AAA are Carter Kieboom, Luis Robert, Gavin Lux, Jesus Sanchez, and three of those guys were basically only promoted there a couple of weeks ago. The only younger player in AAA this season who's not some gimmick callup was Vlad Jr.
  3. Come on connorp, get your s*** together man.
  4. You realize there's a search feature on Google Sheets mobile right?
  5. I thought about taking Deivi Garcia second overall for a bit. Those 20 minutes before I looked him up in our league and saw he was owned were pure bliss.
  6. f*** sakes, there goes my under the radar stat scout breakout.
  7. And he's safe, f*** off.
  8. That play was super awkward, I hope Jansen was able to land the tag.
  9. You think he meant to throw that in the dirt? Maybe have some critical thinking there bud.
  10. You can't just groove a f***ing fastball down the middle every time gruber. Sometimes the pitcher just misses his spots.
  11. We're getting lucky with the errors but the Yankees have a horseshoe up their ass on these groundballs.
  12. Gurriel with a bullet right at someone, of course.
  13. Eric f***ing Sogard does it again! Way to take advantage of the garbage dimensions!
  14. Attaboy Grichuk, continues to hit Tanaka well.
  15. Urshela isn't a good hitter either.
  16. Every single groundball for the Yankees is finding a hole. Infuriating.
  17. f***. This is a great pick here, Patiño should not have dropped this far.
  18. Jimmy Nelson or Nate Eovaldi could be moved instead of Thornton if that's your cup of tea. Either player would be moved along with pick 43 for an upcoming selection. Could add a reliever like Yoan Lopez or Howie Kendrick.
  19. Relief ace Colin Poche of the Rays has 27 strikeouts (22% SwStr rate) and 1 walk in his first 17.1 IP. He also has an absurd 17.1% GB%.
  20. Dinger gets his Trea Turner after all. KingFiller receives: Chris Paddack Bryan Reynolds Dinger receives: Trea Turner
  21. He projects for a >5 ERA/FIP, idk I don't think the Red Sox are the kind of team that needs a guy like this to eat up innings for them. Either they're using him as a reliever and hoping his velocity and stuff plays up or they just traded two lottery tickets for a lateral move IMO.
