    By my understanding, Joey Bart would go to connorp's farm. Conine becomes available to be picked, hopefully no one tried to pick him before and saw that he was illegally owned and balked, and spittin gets Grant Lavigne. Connorp's draft is done.

    I reverted the sheet to 8:15, which is when Lavigne was added to spittin's roster. We might need to temporarily freeze to draft to figure out what the f*** is going on.

    So connorp did this, and then added Joey Bart, Griffin Conine and Grant Lavigne to his roster. But he also added Alec Bohm and Luis Robert on July 7th.

    I wonder if it's the odd Fenway camera angle, but Giles' slider is sweeping more than usual as opposed to the more common 12-6 ish movement that we're used to seeing from him.

    Biggio with another excellent plate appearance. I love watching him work the pitcher and take anything slightly off the plate.

    A game with an opener is implicitly a bullpen game, if the guy following the opener was good enough he'd already be starting the game. Otherwise, if this wasn't the case and it was purely strategy, it basically delays the TTO penalty by allowing one of those times through the order to be done with and starting over from scratch, which could have some benefit if the pitchers are different enough.

    I mean that would be a perfectly valid and defensible use of one. Get ideally 2-3 innings and avoid hitters adjusting the second time around whether the pitcher encountered success or not.

    I was expecting him to be black though, and most likely he would go with the Tar-eek pronunciation - assuming he was American born I guess - if that was the case I would think.

    The best part about Waguespack is he always looks like he's being forced to pitch in the game, like he'd just rather be anywhere else instead of throwing a ball to elite athletes with thousands of people watching him on. It's great, he probably has terrific composure.
