  1. For what it's worth he'll be in his age 31 season even if he'll be 32 at the end of the year.
  2. Ronald Guzman kind of sucks a lot. I don't know what you expected.
  3. Hi. I'm going with Richaun Holmes.
  4. Considering there's a player with a near identical name I wish you had bothered to spell this one right lol. You took Bojan Bogdanovic.
  5. Believe Jim is referring to Mr. 80 FV.
  6. You just missed him by about a decade.
  7. Chapman is also like, top 1/2 at his role. While trading Torres for him is still pretty stupid there's very few players of his calibre available when you're 100% going for it. The Cubs were the best team in baseball with an average-ish to below bullpen and had a chance to break the infamous curse by adding the best possible upgrade they could acquire. The White Sox are not close to being the best and just traded a promising MLB ready SP with control for one who might give them a 2 win upgrade as a rental while the team still has other holes. The White Sox could just as easily have signed Bauer, an actual potential top 5 SP while giving up no assets.
  8. I don't really understand why Texas had to add more to Hernandez. Lowe for Hernandez is probably close to fair on its own, but it seems like Tampa as usual just got a bunch of talented young pieces before they blow up in value for Lowe when they don't value guys like him at all - and I like Nate Lowe, he raked in the minors.
  9. Cleveland could make something out of Trevor Stephan. Good K/BB numbers, will be 25 to start the next season. He might have some issues with the running game or lobbing up meatballs looking at his MiLB BABIP and LOB%.
  10. So you acknowledge that Semien is coming off an MVP caliber year (following a 3.8 WAR season btw) and think he'll be looking for a shorter/cheaper deal lol? Kim is probably not an improvement on Semien at all, rather a downgrade, but he'll be cheaper and is younger.
  11. f***. Great pick.
  12. I'm also onboard with the additional UTIL.
  13. Officially rip the legend of the Lansing trio.
  14. McCann getting a four year FA deal as a 30 year old catcher following his time with the Tigers is a massive success story.
  15. Also anyone else's team keep getting reset and their players put back on the bench after they make an add? FFS Yahoo get it together.
  16. Took Colin Sexton after Dinger's bro went with Bogdan squared.
  17. My god that's pathetic.
  18. I think they can land an ace without even bothering to consider putting Adell on the block. It's a mediocre system in that it lacks depth as you say but they definitely have some toolsy high upside guys to move along with some high floor stat scouty types which dumb fans like us can fawn over. It's a tragedy how much Trout's career is being wasted.
  19. Brandon Marsh? The Angels have plenty in their farm system to acquire Sonny Gray.
  20. This might be hard to believe but Trout is probably a better hitter than Miggy was. His career wRC+ is currently higher than Miguel Cabrera's prime (2003-2016) and higher than Albert Pujols' Cardinals career (2001-2011). Even Soto who is a generational hitting talent still has some ground to climb to match Trout's 20 year old rookie campaign wRC+ over a full season, although he might very well have done that in a full 2020 season.
  21. Trout is an inner circle great. Betts on the way to being a slam dunk Hall of Famer barring injury and Trout has nearly double his career WAR while only being one year older. He's just absurdly good. Speaking of all-time greats currently in the league, 22 year old Juan Soto projects to be the second best hitter and player in baseball lol.
  22. I was majorly despaired by the B2B OG and TJ Warren picks, but yeah I'm a big fan of Bertans. Guy gives no f***s about spacing and will bomb it away from anywhere on the court regardless of the defense and drain them.
  23. Differentiating lefty four seam fast balls from sinkers was a nightmare. They always have the worst angles too.
  24. Davis Bertans.
