  1. I'm intrigued by the fact that Tapia seems to be hitting the ball in the air a lot more lately, and he's hitting the ball hard. His GB % has dropped below 50% in the past 2 weeks, he's topped out at 109.1MPH EV, his hard hit % over that time is 37.8% (only Collins has a better HH% over that span). The results are ABSOLUTELY not there, but there's some interesting stuff under the hood.
  2. I mean, you sort of HAVE to provide examples now...
  3. So basically the MLB is perfectly happy with only the Yankees and their ridiculous short porch in right being able to hit any homers. That's what's happening with this s***** dead ball.
  4. You don't have to, but you should anyway.
  5. Hey, the dead ball actually helps us instead of hurting us for once.
  6. Yes Tabby, the Red Sox needed that lefty lefty matchup or Goske Katoh and Bradley Zimmer would have definitely just dominated whatever righty reliever they used.
  7. Can't unleash the cannon on the fans, he was just thinking of their safety.
  8. Also, he's short and bald and a lot of sportswriters just relate to that.
  9. Hey look a picture of a guy who won the league MVP despite not even being the best player on his team!
  10. Sweet f***, yet another seemingly impossibly bad umpiring performance. The 2022 MLB season is the gift that keeps on raising my blood pressure.
  11. Ballsy pitching from Manoah there, damn. Well done.
  12. Can't be a popular Red Sox player if you're not a massive douchebag.
  13. Holy s*** Chapman. You don't have to give Whitlock a gift just because the ump gave you one.
  14. Damn, what the actual f***. That was one of the worst calls I've ever seen.
  15. I love how truly awful the BoSox are on defence.
  16. With better lineup construction, Jays have probably got at least one run by now. What a f***ing abomination.
  17. I mean, I'd give myself credit here for being right, but it wasn't super tough to predict.
  18. At least it's unlikely that Zimmer will ground into a DP, so Springer probably gets an AB here.
  19. Oh good, Whitlock is getting calls off the plate on BOTH sides. Edit, never mind: It looks like this ump is just closing his eyes and guessing. That's always fun.
  20. I wouldn't mind this move, but the problem is that he is definitely going to get MLB at bats this year, and that is just bad.
