  1. Why do people care more about our 500k catcher than our overpriced starting rotation? Who cost us valuable prospects.
  2. Best stat yet!
  3. the entire starting rotation, we just flat out can't pitch
  4. I'd prefer Lawrie at second, he holds more value if he's able to make the switch. Third basemen are easier to find.
  5. I liked that graph you have some big names coupled with some scrubs in there but those numbers are career averages you posted. Josh Phelps managed it three years in a row and Manny topped 30% one year. A 20% rate over a career is pretty impressive.
  6. It's his third year so I wouldn't be surprised if a significant jump occured considering is line drive rate is way up - but I wouldn't count on it.
  7. It's increased every year he's been in the league.
  8. .202 is pretty good power and his .249 ISO this year is even better
  9. Can you find players like Bautista and E.E with a computer?
  10. AA cares to much about the Bisons. Letting J.P hit 30 dingers and trading him for something good is my hope, can't see Thole being very valuable after his last couple seasons.
  11. Can't believe you haven't been crucified for this yet. I've defended the guy all year which pains me because I don't really like him (seems arrogant). Somebody on here adamantly stated not signing Russell Martin was a mistake and I thought 8.5 million for a guy who hit .211 last year, you can't be serious. Until AA does something stupid like re-sign J.P for over 8 million he's a bargain for the power he brings to the line-up and a decent option at a very thin position.
  12. stilson maybe? He pitched a couple shutout innings the other day
  13. I think if we released him a team would take a chance on him. He's worthless on the trading block though.
  14. What the f*** is wrong with Morrow? 88 mph fastball. He must be hurt
  15. At the start of the season I would have hoped that both Rasmus and Lawrie would be hitting ahead of J.P but they have struggled. I'd keep the lineup the same at the moment, Rasmus ahead of J.P would make lefties back to back and both struggle against left handed pitchers.
  16. I read somewhere they would DH him on his off day's - so both
  17. Can't see us passing up on Meadow's, but Ball seems like the best available player unless higher picks slip
  18. I think the dodgers too (Kershaw would be nice) but probably would have played for any contending team.
  19. The Halladay trade worked out for both sides and I remember Halladay saying he'd wave the no trade clause for a few other contending teams, it wasn't just the Phillies.
  20. Buck costs 6 million, Arencibia half a million - I'll take J.P
