    I don't think the loss is Gibby's fault either. But Bautista credits a lot of his success to Cito and Murphy for helping him with his swing, Smoak credits Ron Washington for helping him with his D. Showalter alway's seems to have good defensive teams. Gibby to me is just a guy who fills out the game sheet, he's not going to make anyone better or worse, and he's not very good at that.

    Quit making excuses for Gibby. Also 2009 they lost Burnett who won 18 games the season before and Marcum missed the entire year with Tommy John. Cito did however post a winning record in 2010, and that team was terrible.
