  1. There has to be some correlation. How many players have terrible seasons as Jays and then get traded and turn into solid contributors? I know it's a small sample size with Boni, but he's never been as bad as he was as a Jay, and he gets traded and has a good run like this? Dickey wins the Cy Young last year, gets traded to Toronto and suddenly has a 4.00+ ERA? I could go on... A lot of the responsibility falls on the players themselves, but obviously coaching has an impact on the game. Otherwise we wouldn't have coaches.
  2. This organization is flawed. Wrong people in management and coaching positions. It does impact the team.
  3. Gibbons later announced he is designing his own cologne, "Desperation."
  4. Sounds like he'll fit in nicely in this clubhouse.
  5. God no...anyone but Jamie. He was so so bad. I actually don't mind Devlin. Tabler is a lot more tolerable when he's working with him. When he's with Buck it just gets downright weird and awkward sometimes with their stupid jokes. Buck is probably the creepiest little man on television...every time they have a guest with them in the booth he asks a question and then sticks his face right up into the guest's face and wears the creepiest smile. So uncomfortable. But again...anyone > Jamie Campbell or Rob Faulds so I am not complaining.
  6. I think David Bush was the Jay that almost had a no hitter, lost it in the ninth.
  7. Florida fans are probably the worst fans, in any sport.
  8. You should be able to get plugins/mods like this for free on the vBulletin Customization forum. I can help if you need it...I've run four of these forums before.
  9. Yes. Package him and JP, let some other team deal with the dumbassery.
  10. Well Zaun just gained a ton of respect from me. I was cheering in the car as I listened to the interview last night. JP just got destroyed. He needs to shut his big mouth, gently remove his tampon and start doing actual work to improve, rather than constantly talking about the work he's doing to improve. If this gigantic bag of gum chewing douche would spend 10% of the time working on catching that he does in front of a camera, he'd be a decent player.
  11. I hope JP gets booed. Won't happen but if anyone deserves it, he does.
  12. I doubt JP will be sent down since Sunday is JPA bobblehead day.
  13. Zaun could come out of retirement and hit and catch better than JP. Not even joking.
  14. Maybe I'm too cynical, but I get the impression JP does a lot of this charity work so he can attract more cameras. This guy is in love with himself and it seems he does these things as a front to hide his terrible play and douchebaggery. Probably not the best person to be teaching the youth of our nation how to play baseball.
  15. Was gonna say...wonder how Melky feels about these comments.
  16. This is exactly why so many people don't like JP Arencibia. All he has proven so far is that he is an inadequate defender, an inadequate hitter, and a douchebag, who will occassionally hit a homerun. He needs to keep his big mouth shut.
  17. We went from Rob Faulds to Jamie Campbell to Buck Martinez. Don't complain.
  18. Absolutely mind boggling how JP isn't in AAA right now.
  19. I just hope the Jays don't look at it as an easy part of the schedule and try to coast and take it for granted that they're going to win. The Astros may suck but they're still a major league team capable of winning if teams look past them.
  20. Is he being paid the full amount while in the minors? I thought the salary dipped if you weren't in the big leagues but I guess it depends on what type of contract he signed. Either way...hugely disappointing. To go from ace to the weak link on the AAA staff is a tough fall. I have to say though, he was very entitled and was a sour puss when he didn't make the team out of Spring Training. He's done nothing to prove management wrong thus far. Probably good for him to be eating some humble pie, and who knows...maybe he'll put it together and not take it for granted this time. Really hope he does.
  21. Pretty sure Romero is done. But I also thought that about Lind and I was wrong about him (so far anyway).
  22. Arash Madani looks like he smells like a mixture of cheap cologne, hair gel, and sweat.
