    Sure Smoak has been bad but if you have no faith in Smoak why would you have faith in Navarro. As bad as Smoak has been, he's unquestionably been better than Navarro. Which says a lot about what a terrible bat Navarro is. Consider for a moment how little faith you have in Smoak getting on base and then consider that Smoak has 64 points of OBP on Navarro. And if you're thining well maybe Navarro can just put a charge in to one. Navarro has a 182 slugging percentage. That's over 200 points below Smoak and Smoak is having a bad season! I don't think the extent of Navarro's offensive ineptitude has really sunk in for most people. He is the rope with which Gibby is hanging himself.

    He pinch hit Navarro for Carrera the other day so his faith in the hot bat has it's limit, it's not as much faith as he has in Navarro.

    Using a different hitter than Navarro doesn't guarantee anything but it's such a dumb, low percentage play that it's more than enough to have me fed up. It's kind of the last straw for me. The evidence that Navarro can't hit is overwhelming and I've just had it with someone who can't parse such basic information. If they lose, they lose but I don't want them go down pinning their last hopes on one of their worst hitters. It just adds insult to injury. Is the collapse Gibby's fault? Hardly. Is he blameless? No.

    You have no problem with his faith in Navarro's bat? Navarro currently has a lower OPS than... JOSH THOLE!

    I did the player transfer in Yahoo! I was going to do the picks on the sheet and then I remembered how easy it is to mess the formulas and I just left it alone.

    What drives me nuts is that these reporters will claim they're doing what they're doing for us the fans. Does anybody really care? What is Osuna gonna say that's so interesting? "You just gotta take it one day at a time, focus on your preparation, put your faith in God, bla, bla, bla."

    Yeah but that's just semantics. What they really want is winning baseball like Intrigid said. Any fan would much rather coast into the playoffs than do what the team is doing now. I mean sure it's entertaining but fans want their team to win first and foremost.

    The reporters are always over-estimating their importance. You could get rid of all player interviews in all sports tomorrow and it wouldn't change a thing. People like the game itself, they like the drama that the competition creates. All the other stuff is fluff.

    Kelly can be a bit painful at times sure but I wonder what he did to justify this. Probably a very minor slight though I don't see why the players should feel obligated to talk to anyone they don't like unless they work for Rogers.
