I don't really get the impetus to move Tulo. Diaz is a nice depth piece to have but any discussion about him stealing the shortstop job has been premature. At his very worst, Tulo still provides the same kind of production of Diaz does now. You could argue that with youth on his side, Diaz is more likely to bounce back but let's see if it actually happens before worrying about what to do with Tulo. Tulo, as far as we've seen, isn't so bad that he can't start and Diaz, as far as we know, isn't so good that he can't be a back up. That could change. Worry about it if and when it does.
