  1. Who lumps Judge in with Bonds anyways?
  2. Name a single person from this board that thinks Teoscar is Barry Bonds.
  3. The Reply with Quote isn't working for me at all. The little bar here (Quick Reply) works but I don't have access to the toolbar for links, videos, images, formatting, etc. Reply With Quote just spins for infinity. Same thing happened to me last night.
  4. I'm cutting Kevin Padlo, Luis Arraez and Jose Albertos (or trading them for pick upgrades if someone wants to bite).
  5. This brought to mind when AA personally scouted Yu Darvish and he had a bad game that day. Small sample size caveats should apply to old school scouting just as much as they do to stat scouting. If you're going to base your whole evaluation on a single game, you'd be better off staying home.

  7. That's an interesting thought exercise. If it doesn't matter how long they played or when they peaked then Rickey Henderson should be in that conversation.
  8. I can't believe in defending Roy Moore but I might as well get this in early. There's a difference between a child molester and someone picking up teenagers at the mall. Don't get me wrong, Roy Moore is a total creep and a piece of s*** for all kinds of reason but there's not much of a parallel here. It's a safe assumption that a lot of those people defending Roy Moore would be among those to come down hardest on him if he did what Heimlich did (and yeah some of them would not like those religious hypocrites who defend Josh Duggar).
  9. Felt like the last time he s*** the bed minus the grand slam so the pain was a bit more drawn out.
  10. Just took a glance as the NL West standings and woof. Duplantier could be a difference maker assuming no one takes charge of that division. Their pitching has been pretty thin. Medlen, Buccholtz and Troys Scribner have all been given a start and they've all been bad. Right now they are looking at Shelby Miller as the main reinforcement and who knows how that will go. I still think it's a long shot but yeah if it's going down to the wire and they need a guy...
  11. WKRP was the best. I'd like to think it influenced me into going into radio.
  12. I think Duplantier is pretty exciting but there are others breakout players biding for a top 25 spot and I'm not sure he's necessarily first in line. I mean you never know who will really fall for a given prospect so there's a good chance he cracks *a* top 25 list but I don't think he's a consensus guy and he only has 30 innings in the high minors so I definitely don't think he's that serious of a candidate for a call up.
  13. The podcast should be called Insufferable Sour Pusses.
  14. He's not wrong. They did play better but it's obviously just a coincidence.
  15. I updated my trade with BTS last night and with Havok yesterday so maybe it was me. I made sure to not use cut and paste though which as was my understanding was the thing that f***s up the sheet. I just manually deleted and imputed the picks. Looked fine when I was done. We definitely have more than enough editors though. The only time it's useful to have so many is during the draft. I'd be all for locking it up more tightly at other times. There's no urgency to update the sheet at other times and whole point of multiple editors is to be helpful. It's obviously not worth it if it merely creates extra work for the league Secretary.
  16. Pick 35 to me, pick 39 + Andrew Suarez to BTS.
  17. He's just talking about position player mop up duty like Cliff Pennington used to do. No big deal and he's a s***** enough of a player that he basically does the team a favour if he pulls something.
  18. Yep. Santana finally heated up and pushed Aguilar right out the door he had just entered.
  19. I'm not deadset against calling up Vlad but it seems like there's a much easier way to improve the team. Cut bait with Morales and transition one of the lesser defensive outfielders (either Peace who can't move or Teoscar who should be good but seems to have s*** for instincts) into the Morales role. That opens up more outfield work for qualified defenders like Alford and/or Pompey and eventually and/or Grichuk. Defense gets a lot better, offense is at worst the same but conceivably might be improved because Morales has been that bad.
