No doubt. I'm pretty sure I've read reports of the Jays doing this very thing in the past. They probably have people on the payroll who are pros at breaking it down. That being said, you can't always make people listen. -
A wrist injury really sapped Ortiz of his power back then. Made him seem worse than he actually was. Not sure if there's an explanation like that this time around other than either age related decline or merely a prolonged slump.

Yeah but we have a pretty good handle on what Mark Buehrle does to succeed. He fields his position exceptionally, he,s great with baserunners and he keeps his defense sharp by working quickly. Do we know what Haren does?

Really hope he can put up good numbers right off the bat. There's often a precipitous and lengthy drop in value on HS guys as soon as they start (not) putting up numbers in the minors while the college guys make you look like a genius as they tear up the low minors all Mike Zunino like. Allard is supposed to have tons of polish which should help but who knows what "polish" really means when dealing with a high schooler.

It's not libraries. We don't block what users can visit. This is because I'm a NB Government employee. Microsoft probably has something do with it.

Kolby Allard wasn't the guy I was hoping would drop to me but I don't think I can afford to pass up the awesome pitcher with the Acadian last name. I'm sure some of the people coming up are quite please that I went HS pitcher.

Yeah he would have been long gone. If I didn't take him at 12 then I would have crossed my fingers that he came back to me with one of my picks in the twenties.
