    Can only speak for myself but I have found it entertaining to have Weams actually be confronted to a differing viewpoint for once. I was really on the cusp with Testicles but then things kind of calmed down. I'm not opposed to banning either of these guys if this persists though. I just haven't found it really all that bad so far to be honest. That being said my opinion is just my opinion. I care about what the board wants more than I care about these Orioles trolls obviously. I'm more than willing to take action.

    I noticed the other day that his K/BB was quite good. Surprised me.

    Seems fairly obvious that Bautista didn't realize who he was talking to. He thought he would just get in Odor's face and have a typical baseball argument. He's completely blind-sighted by the Odor shove. Only then does he raise his arms.

    We're really in virgin territory for hard slides. That slide was legal and fairly typical as recently as last year. Maybe a suspension for it but I feel like the fact that he's a repeat offender is more relevant than the circumstance of the slide itself. I just watched the video again. He did not by any stretch start the fight. He did not raise his arms until after the shove from Odor. When he's confronting Odor, he's clearly just yapping away at him. He started an argument not a fight. That's plain as day.

    I think Odor shoving Bautista had more to do with starting the fight but I guess that's just a question of opinion. Not saying I agree with Bautista for sliding hard. He should have just let it go but typically you don't suspend people for hard slides regardless of whether a fight ensues or not. Edit: You don't typically suspend someone for walking towards a guy either.

    Mad Max 3 has a very good first half and then it has a "children are the future" corny as hell second act that's not in the spirit of the franchise at all.

    My wife and I were watching TV and the fact that she's never seen Top Gun came up in the conversation so we watched that instead. No regrets.

    People have been banned there for less that what you've done today, buddy. Take the orange coloured glass off or better yet go back to the Buck Showalter circle jerk you call a board if it's so great.

    People generally get called dumbasses for, you know, being dumbasses which, btw, is a form of speech. Of course this board isn't a free for all, we do moderate but not as zealously as you guys so yeah you'll see more insults here because we allow MORE freedom of speech not less. If we ran this place the way you're board is run, you and Weams would have been banned on sight.

    I feel this way too but since we can't find an exact corollary it's an argument that can't really be won or lost. I thought the fact that the Jays hired Bush himself would settle it but you can always point to differences in the rap sheet I suppose just as you could point to the fact that the Bush the Texas hired has paid a debt to society as an argument in their favor. The circumstances are different and if someone wants to hang their hat on the fact that the Rangers hired the 2016 version of Bush than there's not a whole lot to be said about it. Doesn't seem wholly sensible to me but as I told Praxis, I have no appetite to argue it further.
