Um. Yeah...."selling high" would factor in the fact that he has 1 year left of control and is coming off a monster season. Not sure what injury issues you're talking about. Rasmus is pretty durable.

I feel like AA is pretty forthright with his players - just not the media. If AA honestly felt there was a good chance he might be traded i could see him letting him know.

If i had to guess....i think he ends up on a 1 year contract back with the Red Sox. Can't see Boras signing a pillow contract with us. Although the Rogers center wouldn't be the worst place for him to hit and try and increase his value.

I believe teams can't trade free agents untill june 15th unless the player gives consent.

I think there's a scenario where Jimenez ends up as not expensive ( but maybe s***). It will take some time though. I would say he's probably the most likely out of anyone left to sign here.
