    Infante won't get 4 years and 40 million. I think he just wants to get a contract like his buddy, Marin Prado. Solution: 3 years 30 million with a team option for a 4th year with a small buy out. Not my first option. Mark Ellis please.

    Steamers has Phillips projected at 2.4 War. Infante is projected at 2.2 War. ....Considering Infante will come cheaper and won't cost assets to obtain. It's fairly obvious Infante is a better option. Saying that, i agree SP is a bigger need right now.

    We're not as far off as some people think. We actually have viable AAA starting pitching depth this year. Add at least 1 SP - 2 or high 3 type. Sign Infante or Ellis and we should be competitive.

    I wouldn't mind drafting Beede again (If he allows it). Would be nice to draft a pitcher who has upside and their ETA isn't 2019. Nick Gordon also looks like someone AA would like..lot's of tools and good blood lines. This is one sexy draft. It's too bad we couldn't get a comp pick for Josh. ugh.

    I'm fine with Cano signing with Seattle. It would take a few wins from Texas and Oakland for the wild card race. I just don't want the Rays to be able to get a monster package from Seattle as a result of the signing to get David Price.
