  1. I'd be fine standing pat I think. Once Lawrie, EE, and Lind get healthy, we'll be pretty solid ip and down the lineup. I'm content with Saki at 2nd.
  2. Seeing him control the curve was somewhat of a revelation that bodes well, as well he didn't walk anyone...
  3. Imagine if we didn't pass on Mike trout and Chris Sale....
  4. Yea but Bryant is probably the best prospect int he world right now, and would allow us to move Lawrie to 2nd and be a great fit in our stadium.
  5. Bottom line is we have 2 young stud pitching prospects who are now in the majors.
  6. I know it was only two innings, but there's a chance these "control issues" in the minors might be due to him trying to learn/employ a cutter. He actually located his hard fastball pretty good, and he has the rare ability to control his curveball. Beauty.
  7. I'm a Sanchez believer. The cutter might have to be ditched, he can't throw it for strikes, but the fastball/curveball combo is unreal. That fastball is so filthy he just needs to get it in the strikezone, command not necessary.
  8. f***ing beauty. Bautista bomb, Sanchez dominant debut, and Janssen returning to form!
  9. f*** you haters, Sanchez looking filthy. couldn't locate his cutter, but his other 2 pitches were ridiculous. Being able to throw that curve for a strike definitely bodes well.
  10. Oh kno ya didn't, ya shooda been payin more attention ther, eh?
  11. LOL they are basically kicking Kevin Martin out of the booth. No outs still.
  12. "Playing was alot easier than this, that was natural!" *Awkward laugh* -Pat Tabler on the transition from playing to broadcasting.
  13. I'm suddenly worried about Janssen. Sounds like a terrible episode of food poisoning, and the weight loss seems to have effected him. Gaining weight back mid-season is very tough.
  14. Maybe a big inning, and we save Loup and bring in Sanchez.
  15. I actually got into a discussion about this the other day. He actually has talent- he just doesn't do any off the diamond work. If he had a workethic he'd be really good.
