  1. I think with how the roster is now I'd be interested in doing a piggy back situation a few times a week as we have a lot of multiple inning arms. Limit times through the lineup might help some of the guys.
  2. I probably would have liked to DFA Payamps or Waguespack before Fisher or Davis but I ultimately don't think it's a big deal either way.
  3. I'm not really into the Steam area of this but it's a really good game that I spend hours each week playing. Worth it.
  4. That'd be great. I wonder what he would cost with us taking on the next two years of the contract.
  5. I thought this was a pretty interesting read: https://www.wkyt.com/2020/09/10/woodford-countys-clinton-hollon-pitching-his-way-past-addiction/
  6. What are peoples thoughts on JBJ and Handsome Jake?
  7. I'd be curious to see what it would take to get Chris Archer up to Toronto.
  8. I'm not Miss Cleo but the answer will be terribly. It is a really odd hire unless their front office uses an OOTP system where next to his name his reputation is "Legendary" so they just figured he was the best.
  9. I agree. I'd have no problem with Bo being a guy who splits his time in the middle infield. The more versatility the better.
  10. Is the last time we had two quality catchers that could have been starters back with Pat Borders/Greg Myers?
  11. This game is blacked out in my area. Anyone have a stream?
  12. They may but I'd be interested on how they feel with the shortened season and expanded playoffs. If we do make the playoffs and extend our season they may be willing to open up the wallet a little bit considering that the Jays are basically free content for them.
  13. Um...it's 21 games in a 4 team round robin Indy league with a bunch of other minor leaguers who are in AA/AAA and out of his age group. Dalton Pompey isn't even hitting .100 in this league and he was a major league player at a time.
  14. I'm fine with this move as well. He has upside and I'd love to just punt either Drury or Panik off the roster and give Kevin Smith a chance to see what he has.
  15. Is it too late to just have my MLB.tv payment deferred to next year?
  16. I can understand the whole 40 man roster situation but I think it's something that will need to be given up if there is any real chance for a season to be completed. Perhaps the active roster (30 players) and the "taxi squad" (30-40 players) but not all have to be on the 40 man. They get service time if called up to the team, but you can't have a situation where you're DFA guys so you can sign Pat Venditte just so you have enough pitchers.
  17. One neat thing about the Chicago Dogs is their manager is Butch Hobson, father of former Jays prospect KC Hobson. He used to manage my "hometown" Atlantic League team Lancaster Barnstormers and they used to sign a ton of former Jays farmhands (John Anderson, Kevin Ahrens). The Dogs actually have on their roster KC, Michael Crouse, and Gustavo Pierre so it seems like he's keeping this trend going.
  18. I'm sure that statement is going to help him gain confidence.
  19. He has experience jackin' in Florida.
  20. I'm 110% pro Spanky all the time. Such a positive force.
