    I get the arguments to change it but those communities have bigger issues than sports team names. Redskins and Chief Wahoo probably stand out the most and are most deserving to be changed. This is colloquial evidence but it is backed up by some studies which say that Native Americans don't care in general about these names, but my Native American friends love all the sports names and see them as a point of pride. Some of them became HUGE Chiefs fans simply because of the name.

    I hope he does well. I've wanted this guy to get a chance for a while. Could be a serviceable backend SP.

    What are the doubts about his swing? What position do you think he eventually plays?

    What was their reasoning for leaving him out of the Top 101 at the time? I wonder if they'll quickly correct it and just have him rocket up their list or if they'll debut him a lot lower. The former will be admitting a mistake in their process and ripping off the bandaid. The latter pegs them as the one outfit that didn't like Vlad Jr. If he turns out to be a superstar it might be best to just rip the bandaid off but I guess they can't really get to wrapped up in that. They have to focus on what they actually think.

    He's outperforming his projections by a lot right now and he's still hitting like s*** this season.

    Nice win. The team is playing a lot better. It'd be nice to take one of the next two against CLE to win the series and then give the M's and Braves a beatdown to end the home stand. 6-3 or better would be great.
