  1. Good job by Liriano. We need to tack on to this lead asap.
  2. Carapazza gave us that one. Strike 2 should have been ball 4.
  3. It's still not very good but yes it's his best. 6.8%.
  4. Good job by our one big league player in the lineup tonight to draw a walk. Hopefully these AAA guys can cash him in.
  5. I tuned in 10 minutes late and we are already getting wrecked.
  6. Salazar has 49ks in 33 innings. How many does he get tonight against that lineup?
  7. This post is a mess and it's partially my fault. -I like the Bisons normal logo. The cartoon Bison with the leg kick. The hat you shared doesn't have that logo and it isn't all blue either. I hate the hat you shared. It sucks. I'm not a fan of hats that have a different color for the brim. -And when I said best minor league hat I meant Jays minor league hat. I don't really like any of the Jays minor league hats but an all blue Bisons hat or the Vancouver Mounty hats are the two best. I agree with you on the Yard Goats.
  8. Tonight will be fun. Carapazza behind the plate and the lineup looks even worse than last night.
  9. Yeah that one isn't bad either.
  10. Agree on the Lugnuts. I just don't like the logo. I appreciate that the Lugnut was anthropomorphized but he doesn't look menacing or tough or anything. He looks like he just got his ass kicked or something. They could do a much better job with that. The two you mentioned aren't bad. I think there are better out there though. But an all blue Bisons hat with just the Bison logo and no letter "B" might be the best minor league hat.
  11. I wish the Jays had better minor league affiliate hats. None of them are that great IMO.
  12. I think they are competent but also lucky. They put together teams that should be .500 or above every year and somehow end up beating their Pytho W-L record every year by a long shot. The only year they truly were a legit 90+ win team was in 2014 when they somehow got outstanding pitching (from Tillman, Chen, Bud Norris, Miguel Gonzalez who all dramatically beat their FIPs) to counter what was a down year hitting for them. But they have a good defense and good bullpen. That's what the Royals did too. Maybe there is something to be said for building 85 win teams with elite bullpens and defenses.
  13. Yeah it really sucks that Pompey got hurt. This was the perfect opportunity for him.
  14. No difference between 3 and 5 really and with this lineup I don't know who should bat in front of him. Better off hoping he figures it out.
  15. I believe he accepted his assignment and is headed back to Buffalo.
  16. He can do it but he f***s up on camera and then he's a meme. He's pretty shy as it is so I can see why he uses a translator.
  17. It was kind of sad. You could tell he really liked playing in TO. I'm glad he got a good ovation.
  18. So you lied to me? And got me all self-righteously mad for nothing?
  19. I'm watching the Indians feed tonight. That is so stupid.
  20. Yeah I actually have liked him for a while. He isn't a Casey Lawrence level talent.
  21. This is how we win tonight. Bolsinger throws up a quality start. The two guys who belong on a big league roster each have multiple hits. The guy who might belong has a hit as well. The 6 replacement level players don't do much but they don't make any errors and one of them (we can go with Ohlman if you want) runs in to a pitch and hits it over the fence with a guy on base. The bullpen holds them scoreless for 3 innings. Jays win 4-3.
  22. So we've got Morales and Pillar who are big leaguers. Then whatever Bautista is at this point. And then 6 replacement level players. With a 29 year old AAA SP on the hill. Not sure I like our odds tonight you guys.
  23. Goins over Upton seems to be an example of this. Tepera and other over Barnes, Ramirez, etc. is another example. Giving multiple starts to Latos and especially Lawrence over Bolsinger and others. It's weird.
