    Great questions. I would also like to know if he's had some sort of true talent change by changing his swing or approach or something. As for his splits, they seem to be pretty even in AAA this year but I think we can assume that he'd be better against lefties than righties. He plays a lot of SS and in his short time in the bigs I think his defense has graded out well at 3B and 2B. I'd love to give him a shot and I think he probably played a factor in why the Jays were willing to dump DeJong.

    He has 12 strikeouts in 274 plate appearances. He can play all 4 infield positions with the majority of his time coming at SS. Surely this guy could help in some capacity. He might be the guy we want for the 28th man when rosters expand?

    I did. It's crunch time and the Jays are right in the thick of it so everyone needs to be their best versions of themselves from here on out. Since my alter ego is so popular and successful I plan on adopting it more often around here which I'm sure is great news for everyone. So saddle up, partner!     HUGE game tonight you guys. Seattle's surge has flipped the WC race on its head and the Rangers and Astros are now a part of it. If the Jays win this series it sets them up nicely as the schedule eases up after this. GO JAYS

    This guy is such an idiot. This is the kind of crap Dick Monfort says. Even if it was true, I don't know why he wouldn't just say, "we have a plan in place to be and remain competitive and I'm very confident that we will be able to execute that plan effectively." No need to start talking about how he's a poor billionaire lol.

    I wonder if they'll be able to squeeze Davis Schneider and his .367/.472/.700 slashline into the game tonight. Going to be tough with Biggio on the cusp of OPS'ing .700 again but we'll see. Maybe they can find a pinch hit at bat or two for him this series.

    Along with a late season visit to the Trop, this Orioles series is one of our two remaining road series against a winning team. If we win this series, it will be smooth sailing from here and the playoffs will be easy to make.

    Mariners are on FIRE. 8 game win streak, 3 game losing streak and now a 6 game winning streak again and they are up 3-0 and counting against the White Sox in the top of the first.

    Yeah all 3 schedules are very comparable. MLB Tankathon groups them all together but says we have the toughest (they just use current Win%). Fangraphs says we have the easiest (they use their projections I think).

    Wow! That's quite the take. Lots of Dominican players have been in organized baseball since they were 16 or 17 and plenty of them "know how to learn."

    Vlad is now slashing .265/.343/.432 on the season. KK isn’t much worse at .270/.330/.417.

    Yeah by the time we play all those games against them at the end of the year they might be scaling back Cole, Judge and others.

    Yeah we are a half game back of W3 and just 2 games back of WC2 now. Seattle's upcoming schedule is cake. If we can keep pace with them through this part of the schedule with them we will be in a good spot.

    Glad Davis Schneider is getting another break tonight. Probably exhausted after hitting the game winning HR yesterday.

    Well well well…ole Terminator here has been calling for more playing time for Babe Schneider daily for the past week. But Cavan Biggio has been playing so well there wasn’t any room for him (he actually got his OPS above .700 for the first time in years). But guess what? They squeezed Schneider into the game anyway and what does he do? Hits the game winning bomb.

    It took a shutout at the hands of a bunch of indy ball pitchers in the best offensive park outside of Coors Field, but it finally forced their hand to put Babe Schneider in the lineup. Pray to god he goes 3 for 4 with a homer again because apparently that's the only way he's going to get another start.

    Jays should sign Ohtani. Just give him 650 mil for 12 years and a bunch of Rogers stock as well as 5% equity in the team. Also fire John Schneider and let Ohtani be the manager too. He'd take this group of losers to the top.
