  1. This is exactly my point. Why is it a good question? The Jays will have at minimum a 2 game lead with 4 games to go and the other teams will be playing each other from there on out which further limits the chances for all 3 teams to jump us. We will still have a 95% chance to make the playoffs. It's only a good question in your mind because you can keep implying that missing the playoffs is a real possibility. But when someone points out that you are taking a 5% chance and making it sound like it's got a significant chance of happening then you resort to "quit telling lies." lol
  2. ^Lol he works the probability down using a bunch of meaningless ******** that he made up and then equates his made up probability with Russian Roulette
  3. No dumbass you don't get off that easy. You just said we are going to lose to Cole tomorrow and then "will the team start to feel the pressure?" No mention of the AL West teams playing each other, no mention of the remaining schedules, nothing. Just assuming a loss tomorrow and then implying that the downfall is all but certain. But there is no downfall. We lose tomorrow and so what? We still have at least a 2 game lead with 4 games left. And before you retort with your ******** "ah but they hold the tiebreakers over us so it's really only a 1 game lead" you have to remember that these teams continue to play each other, thus guaranteeing losses for one another. So you can hide behind the fact that you aren't explicitly saying we are going to miss the playoffs, but what you are doing is that you keep implying that it's a real chance that we will miss the playoffs when it's a very remote chance at best. So cut the ******** pal. No one is buying it.
  4. Yeah they don't factor in the remaining schedules at all. Prior to today we could lose all 6 of our remaining games and we still had a 51% chance of making the playoffs. The AL West just plays each other too many times in the remaining games. Would take a full blown catastrophe on our end as well as the AL West teams splitting things down the middle almost perfectly for us to miss. When we make the playoffs all these negative nancies should be banned for the remainder of the postseason. We don't need their bad vibes haunting the team during the playoffs.
  5. Masturbator has been saying we are missing the playoffs every day for the past couple of weeks. And recently we've usually been winning but he still won't change his tune. We lose one game and he acts like he's the smartest guy in the room because he finally got one right lol. To top it off the other board idiots join in and all say I told ya so. You all are DUMN and the playoffs remain easy to make. In fact, even WITH the loss, if the Mariners lose our playoff chances go up. So before you start puffing your chests up too much you've got to see what happens in the other games tonight. And even if the Rangers and Mariners pull it out it still tacks on a loss to the Astros who we own the tiebreaker with.
  6. I'm glad we lost this game. We were getting too far ahead of the WC3 spot anyway and needed to drop down.
  7. Easy game tonight. Yanks are mailing it in with no Judge.
  8. It's Jomboy. Dude lives for clicks. Rowdy goes on in the interview to say that Donaldson is a good veteran presence and a good guy to have in the clubhouse and that he's glad to have him for the playoff run.
  9. Yeah he looks terrible. Thankfully he's got one more option year otherwise the team might have to consider cutting bait on him. Hopefully next year he has a big year and can be a setup man moving forward.
  10. Glad to get Belt back. Should have enough time to get his timing back before the playoffs where we will need him. Jackson is also an upgrade over Pearson, sadly.
  11. Rowdy jokes a lot and I think that's all this is.
  12. I've never seen a 25 year old pitcher with numbers like this generate so much excitement. 3.91 ERA in AA (yawn) and a 6.49 xFIP in AAA (yikes). More like Nick FrASSo if you ask me.
  13. Yeah it was a good thing because after 90 innings his arm was about ready to explode
  14. I've already admitted defeat with Biggio and I am now a bon a fide fan of his. With 0.9 fWAR and 0.6 bWAR I can longer deny the insane amount of talent this guy brings to the field each and every day. Truly a great player. As for Bellinger you might want to run your WAR calculations again. KK has been worth 3.8 bWAR to Belly's 4.1. KK has been worth 2.1 fWAR to Bellinger's 4.0. So on a per dollar basis KK was clearly the better choice and I expect a full apology from you for this unsolicited attack.
  15. 6.49 xFIP in AAA. Mitch White looks better than he does.
  16. Here's my list of the ones I've been too. I'm probably forgetting some and I know I've been to some that no longer exist. Great Ballparks 1. PNC Park 2. Oracle Park 3. Camden Yards 4. Coors Field Old but Hold Up Well 5. Dodger Stadium (the location is the only bad thing but LA doesn’t have a good downtown anyway) 6. Kauffman Stadium (location the problem here as well but it's very underrated otherwise) Good New Ballparks 7. Petco Park 8. T-Mobile Park (Seattle) Kind of s***** but New 9. Citizens Bank Park 10. Minute Maid Park Old But Gets the Job Done 11. Rogers Centre Old and Horrible 12. Angels Stadium Doesn’t Even Count and Soon Won’t 13. Oakland Coliseum
  17. Yeah I personally think RC kind of sucks but it's not a "wow this is bad" kind of park. It's at least functional with walkable concourses and it's also located in a good spot downtown and has the retractable roof. It gets the job done and like you said, it's not really THAT much worse than other middling ballparks like Minute Made in Houston. It's just a little bit older but the renovations should catch it up some. Truly bad parks are Oakland Coliseum or Angels Stadium. I don't even count Oakland Coliseum as it's a football stadium. Angels Stadium is the worst one I've been too. Limited food options bc there just aren't that many and narrow concourses. The only good thing about it is it has tons of parking because it's located in an LA suburb on a giant parking lot. Horrible place.
  18. Yeah Minnesota will be easy to beat. Tampa will also be easy to beat, but not quite as easy as Minnesota.
  19. You misunderstand. This isn't a pro-Mitch White account, it's anti-Nick Frasso.
  20. Oh I know plenty about statistics pal. For example, the very esteemed Fangraphs dot com web site has a MUCH higher probability of being right on this than someone who uses an alliteration of the very disgusting and loser act that one performs on oneself. How's that for a statistic?
  21. Snell threw 6 scoreless innings tonight. His ERA is down to 2.33. He's got to be the NL frontrunner for the Cy Young award right?
  22. Your doomsday posts go in one ear and right out the other pal. The playoffs will be easy to make. 99 percent chance according to the highly respected Fangraphs.
  23. Yeah you are right. It's 4 if we are looking at Seattle. But it gets complicated because if they avoid losses down the stretch it means our other competition is adding them.
