  1. I expect FULL and sincere apologies from all the D-Bags stans of the board. Last night was an affront to the game of baseball. The D-Bags, a team with a negative run differential and the worst uniforms in professional sports, are so terrible that they actually don't even have a #4 starting pitcher. So in the hallowed World Series they started journeyman reliever JOE MANTIPLY and then followed him with a collection of shitbag relievers who gave up 10 runs in the first 3 innings. What a joke. So to answer OP's question, YES the World Series does have a credibility problem and last night proves it.
  2. Yeah this version of the Rangers is fine. Love Semien and Seager and Bruce Bochy is pretty cool too. Plus, Jeff Bannister who was worse than everyone but Odor and Sam Dyson on those garbage Rangers teams is the bench coach for Arizona so f*** 'em. Go Rangers.
  3. The worst thing about Texas winning the World Series is that I can no longer use this gif to dunk on Rangers fans whenever they bring up Ratface Odor throwing a punch. https://i.imgur.com/ltPnwzu.mp4
  4. Supper Stars sounds like the name of a Food Network reality show.
  5. Yeah Roger Maris got tons of hell for the 162 game season.
  6. World Series ratings are at record lows so far. The sorry ass D-Bags are the most likely reason
  7. https://www.tankathon.com/mlb That says pick 20
  8. Wow Hurl just landed a devastating combination of attacks there
  9. Ok my bad it isn't literally every single day. But it's quite often.
  10. The here we go again is because we have this discussion every single day lol
  11. The point of your post was to compare our offense to theirs and you did so by showing how our #9 hitter is similar to their #5/6. Now you want to talk about which player you would rather have which is a different discussion. But to answer that question I'd rather have Kiermaier since he has out WAR'd Lourdes every single year since Lourdes' debut in 2018.
  12. With analysis like that you're going to have to excuse me for disagreeing with your baseball takes every once in a while.
  13. Sil disproving his own point by showing how our number 9 hitter is about as good as the guy who spent most of the year batting #5 for them lol
  14. You D-Bag fanboys keep pimping Carroll, Marte and Walker but let's face it, they are pretty similar to Vlad, Bo and Belt no matter who is ultimately better. Our trio probably projected better but theirs was slightly better this year due to Vlad's down year (a down year where he still hit about as well as Walker did). So I look forward to the results of your study but even if having top heavy hitting is better, their top 3 is pretty damn close to ours anyway. And I'm talking hitting only not baserunning and defense (which helps the D-Backs best players' WAR greatly). And why cap it at top 3? Why not Top 4 or 5 to determine who has the more top heavy hitting? Oh yeah, you guys keep bringing up the "top 3" because it fits your narrative. If you expand it to 4 and 5 then all of the sudden we probably gain the edge in "top heavy" hitting.
  15. Here we go again...
  16. Yeah we probably miss the playoffs if we trade for him instead of playing Schneider
  17. That's a great idea. Did you come up with that on your own? I'm impressed.
  18. Ok this guy needs a timeout
  19. These workouts and dieting could be good, even if it's his brother and sister and law. I don't think it takes a genius to get in shape nor does it take a genius to tailor the workouts to baseball either. I'd prefer it was with someone with a proven track record but as long as he takes it serious I'm sure the 3 of them can get him into shape. But that's only half the battle for him. His pitches flattened out a lot so he's got to find the mechanics that he was using in 2022. That's where you want to see him in a driveline type atmosphere.
  20. Hmmm....better than nothing I suppose
  21. He's looking skinnier already. I've seen enough. I'm penciling him in as my number 5 next year.
  22. NYY keep trotting Cashman out there year after year
  23. Creating something out of thin air is as much a result of necessity as it is anything else. Baltimore simply has to because they are cheapskates. If the Jays have a hole at DH, Atkins isn't going to be dumpster diving for the Ryan O'Hearns of the world to fill it. Instead he signed Brandon Belt on a 1 year deal and he pumps out 2.3 WAR in 100 games. He also got 45 homers out of Semien on a one year deal and a Cy Young out of Robbie Ray on a 1 year deal. For a top 10 payroll that kind of stuff is similar to creating something out of nothing.
