Look at this example of a guy who is currently spending life in prison:
Strike 1: Transportation of Marijuana across state lines. More than 1 oz across state lines is a felony and can carry a sentence of 2-4 years.
Strike 2: Escape from prison. Guy escaped from prison during his first sentence and was caught.
Strike 3: Petty theft with a prior. A couple years after being released from his original stint he got caught shoplifting kids movies at a Kmart.
Stuff like this is why the 3 strike rule is f***ed. This guy deserves to be punished for his crimes but his punishment doesn't fit the crimes.
Seems like a bit more patience at the plate and Adelman would be gone already... We keep helping him out by chasing pitches out of the zone when hes clearly struggling with his command.
You will have fun out there, its such a great field/environment. Hopefully you get a King Felix start, I think you will be right beside Kings Court.
I've sat in section 144 before and had a really good view. I doubt there's a bad seat anywhere in the lower bowl.
Enjoy your trip, Seattle is a very nice city!
I don't think so, but Yu Darvish's father is Iranian.
I'm sure its a non-issue. But if he ever went to Iran to visit family he would probably be subject to a more rigorous screening process upon re-entering the US.
Great strategy if you have a Bumgarner or Kluber. But the Jays strength is depth, so there is no reason to push anyone to start on less than 4 days rest.
Feldman has actually been decent over the past couple weeks. Basically what you expect out of your long man.
Over his last 5 appearances: 7 IP, 8 H, 2 ER, 3 BB, 7 K, 0 HR
I agree, so with Martin and Tulo being the hot bats currently I would have them both above Saunders.
Wherever you bat Saunders he is going to be breaking up the righty bats with 8 of them in the lineup.
I don't think anyone's advocating the runner should be allowed to go 3 feet past the base and body check the 2nd baseman. Its stuff like this that makes no sense:

Coaches should have to decide whether or not to challenge a call on the field based on what they see from the dugout and the advice of their players.
No calling up to a guy watching a replay before deciding.
