    Was at the Dunedin Jays last night specifically to see Lesavage and he was interesting. His fastball was always around 94/95 and slider between 81 and 86. He managed 10 ks through 5 with a lot of swing and misses. He threw a ton of strikes and was rarely behind in the count. Had a no hitter through 4 but got into a little trouble in the 5th. He had the bases loaded with none out but managed to strike out the next 2 but gave up and infield single and a throwing error by the catcher led to 3 runs. Overall a pretty good outing. An added bonus was Dalton Varsho in the game as the dh. Btw, keep an eye on Yeuni Munoz. He may be the only position player on this team to move up the prospect rankings. Varsho starting in this afternoon's game in CF. He must be getting close.

    Went to the Dunedin Jays game tonight, specifically to see Khal Stephen but also because it was $2 Wednesday...$2 admission , beer, hot dogs and popcorn. Gotta love minor league ball. The line score for Khal was okay, 5 hits, in 5 IP with 5 k's,but he does not stand out.His breaking balls are his strength but his velo topped out at 92. Hope to see Yesavage later this week.

    How do you know they never tried to sign himand Vladdy can say that he wants to play here, but do we really know that. Btw, 2 years ago many on this site would have given Vladdy away for a bag of balls. Look at the big picture.

    I got ridiculed for that comment. Is it still too early? I've been going down to Dunedin for the last 15 years of spring training.Sometimes the eye test really works.

    Lukes went 6 for 6 tonight with a hr. Bring him up tomorrow and DFA Vogelbach. No brainer.

    Bonilla was 4/5 today with 3 doubles in the opening game of the FCL.

    Watched Mississauga's Connor O'Halloran pitch a nice game tonight. Not overpowering but good mix resulting in 9 k's in 6 plus innings. Not much to see on this Dunedin team. Nimmala looks overmatched at this level.

    I was at the game today and he left the game after allowing a bloop opposite field double. He didn't seem to be in much distress. Hopefully,it's nothing serious,maybe a blister. He is an interesting prospect. His fastball sat at 91 but he has a devastating change-up that comes in around mid 70's. He also works very quickly with a nice easy delivery. Hope I get to see him again before i leave. On another note, I watched Berriera tossing a football around in the bullpen before the game. Maybe he wants to emulate Manoah.

    At least on most broadcasts, the names of the pitcher and batter appear on the screen. Not this one.

    This game was the worst broadcast of the spring. No indication of who the batter for the Jays was and they completely ignored the game while doing interviews.

    I know it's early but this Jays offence could be one of the worst in the majors.

    Houston winning 5-0. Hope these scores hold up. Jays avoid playing Tampa and Baltimore.
