barreto may very well turn out 4 years from now, but the Yankees have a 200+ million dollar payroll for a crappy lineup. In 4 years they may have a 200+ million dollar payroll of good players. We got 4 years of Donaldson for 3 years of Lawrie. Nolin and Graveman may turn out, but with Norris, Sanchez, stroman, Hoffman and hutch we could afford to give up pitching. The A's are going to have a much harder time competing this year. They gave up the farm to go for it last year and it didn't work out. They had to rebuild the farm and now we are making a push to go for it this year. We're still a couple pieces away. Should be interesting to see what moves we make next.
