  1. I haven't looked at Tebow's stats for at least a year....I was sort of surprised he's actually got a .276/.341/.494 slash line at AA. I wonder if he gets a Sept call up to put a few more people in the seats.
  2. I have him in there...lol
  3. I was just going to post this...now 9ks no hits through 5.
  4. Travis is really coming along.
  5. it wasn't all on him, but I would like to see SRF brought up....send Gaviglio down and bring up SRF!
  6. I don't know why Frazier is being mentioned along side a guy like Vlady. Frazier is no lock to be an above average MLB player. Vladdy is almost a lock to be an above average player. I would rather focus on lower level high upside pitching prospects than a guy like Frazier.
  7. Bats might turn into a nice little trade chip for the mets.....he should net a lower level lottery pick prospect.
  8. is it me, or did Buck call that homer like it was a lazy fly ball. It left the bat and I was thinking gone, and then Buck's voice made me think he got it off the end of the bat....and then it landed in the seats
  9. I meant to type Estrada, not Sanchez. My bad, it was a blond moment.
  10. after we trade Happ and Sanchez Foley should be in the rotation. He could really benefit getting a couple months in the majors to prepare himself for next year.
  11. I'm all for sending him down and giving Foley a look
  12. It was nice to see Borucki battling today. I think the kid could be a decent back end starter, but I can't wait for Foley to come up. After watching our guys strike out as much as they did it will be nice to see a pitcher with swing and miss stuff coming up.
  13. why is guilmet on this team
  14. yeah...I can see donaldson taking the QO.
  15. most players play hurt. You can't play through injury. Donaldson posted a .953 OPS and had 700 plate appearances in 2016. Dr. Arrogant at your services.
  16. Moose was a 2 win player with those 38 homers. Donaldson was second only to a guy named trout in WAR the last 5 years. That comment is ridiculous. Donaldson gambled, the Jays gambled....both lost. The Jays won't be able to trade him for much and Donaldson's free agent dollar value has plummeted. He likely would have got more from an extension with Shatkins prior to the season. That said, we traded Roy Halladay and basically got nothing, so prospects are a gamble too. The best move might be gambling again and signing Donaldson to an extension at a much reduced rate. I wouldn't be surprised if JD signed a one year deal in the offseason.
  17. You're not a doctor. Donaldson played 4 seasons averaging 157 games. Last year his missed some time due to an injury, but still played 113 games. If you assume every play that fits that mold is injury prone, you're going to be wrong more times than you are right. The fact that you predicted Donaldson would be injured this year has more to do with luck than your incredible medical knowledge.
  18. I still don't know how Grichuk got that with those other 2 gloves in the way
  19. well maybe not Granderson....but everyone else
  20. why are we not pinch running for morales
  21. Biagini against the heart of the order didn't seem like a great idea for me....but what do I know..lol
  22. lots of hard hit balls that didn't fall against Verlander for the Jays too. I would have bet my house that the Jays wouldn't get 4 runs off Verlander tonight.
  23. settle down...Verlander is one of the best pitchers in the game and Kendrys is the hottest hitter on the Jays. Did you miss the game winning homer last night?
  24. I've been pretty vocal about Morales, but he's a seemingly good dude and he's finally going through a stretch where he's earning his dough. It was a pretty nice series all in all. The Jays should have took 3 out of 4. There's not many times where you out hit a team 9 to 3 where the other team only has one double and you have 4 and you're going to lose. Estrada has also turned a corner. This isn't a terrible team if we could get Josh Donaldson back and the Stro show returns to form.
  25. pillar is tough to watch at the plate right now....it's time for Grichuk to get a start in centre....Kevin needs to take a day off.
