    How can you be all over Stroman for his antics on the field and then rush to the defense of Tim Anderson who throws his bat and gives the pitcher a stare after hitting a 4th inning home run in April. I'm fine with being on one side or the other, but pick a side man.

    Can we bring up Biggio with Vlad...It would be nice to have a real lead off hitter.

    Vlad senior wasn't exactly a great fielder and spent much of his career as DH. I have no issue with Vlad being in the Hall, but when you compare Walker and Vlad, it's hard to believe that Vlad is in and Walker isn't. Hopefully Walker makes it next year though.

    So big Nate has maybe 2 more starts at dunedin and if all goes well they should probably bump him up to New Hampshire, right?

    Arguing over two guys who's wRC+ will be south of 90 is quite funny. I'd take McKinney at 87 over DSJ at 85, but who really cares. McKinney is a decent 4th outfielder. On to more important things. Can we bring up Biggio already? Shatkins love for Drury and Gurriel is the real reason the kid is not up yet. Surely this Drury obsession will die off eventually.

    He was wrong about Drury too, but based on Jamie campbell's comments on prime time today, I think he's quite attached to Drury for some reason. Drury is going to have a lot of rope to work things out.

    yes....go with less than a month worth of at bats sample size vs his entire career. An 85wRC+ isn't great, but at this point we have a lot worse.

    all players have flaws, but what the glaring weaknesses to Biggio's game? What does he need to improve before he gets a call up so he can manage to compete with the guys like Drury, sogard and hanson?

    Biggio has a great approach and takes his walks. They don't want the rest of the scrubs to get self conscious being shown up by a young player.
