  1. ok smoak...hit a homer. I forget what it's like to score a run
  2. Bergen with a walk tonight, no strike outs, but no hits either so another 0 is on the board. If Bergen can last until August 1, King will not post for the month of August. If he gets returned to us before August 1 there will be no posting for me in the month of August!
  3. ok, if he is sent back before july 31st I will not post for an entire month. If he is with the Giants on August 1, you will abstain from posting for a month. Is it a deal?
  4. or we could try not to blow our load after 1 minute of fun and declare victory. Let's wait until at least july or august.
  5. actually 1 inning of crap where he gave up 2HR and 4 runs. In his other 12 appearances he gave up 1 run.
  6. yes let's ignore all those MiLB innings where he struck out 12.0/9 walking 2.7/9 giving up .4HR/9 with a 1.37 ERA. Those clearly prove he is indeed terrible.
  7. The kid has pitched 11 innings. That's no where near enough to declare him a crap pitcher. You should own your own mistakes for assessing a players talents based on 11 innings..lol
  8. Players who have an inability to get hits, make plays in the field and pitchers who are having trouble making quality pitches are hurting the team far more than those articles.
  9. man it's almost impossible to stay logged into this site
  10. I think they do view Biggio as Mark Reynolds. I think he will be traded mid season before he ever gets called up.
  11. Come on? It was a play that could have been made, but have you guys ever played baseball? That was a lazer shot right at him. It was a difficult play. The play to Vladdy was a routine play.
  12. It's not an exact match, but I understand the comparison. Biggio plays 1st, 2nd and third and has played the outfield a bit and looks like he will get more time there. Zobrist played short, but only 13.8% of his mlb gamers were at short. Biggio stole 20 bags last year. His K rate is higher, but he's cut it to 16.8% this year so that isn't that far off Zobrist. Walk rates are both very high for both players. Biggio might have a bit more pop if last year's and this year's start is a sign of things to come. Regardless, Biggio should be up.
  13. Biggio needs to be up facing big league pitching. This is what's best for his development and to see what you have in the player. He's fine as a utility guy in year one. Who knows. outfield might be his best position.
  14. i don't believe ross actually said that....and do pat and buck actually watch the game....it was 2 and 0 to sogard
  15. Am I the only one having issues logging in or are others having problems too
  16. strike 1 was off the plate too....close pitches, but the pitcher was fortunate to get both those.
  17. I was with you. I thought they should have walked him too.
  18. i wish i was a giants or reds fan....their extra inning game is 11 to 11....lol.
  19. ok time for a rain delay...see you in a couple hours
  20. we out hit them 9 to 3 and they had an error..we've had more chances...too many strikeouts for sure on the jays part.
