The Rays might as well play games at a local little league stadium when the weather is nice. Then we wouldn't have to deal with this POS park and the stands might look a bit more full. -

Crazy difference in the run environment in the Eastern League last year and International League this year. Biggio's .252/.388/.499 was good for a 145 wRC+ in AA last year. His .306/.440/.507 is a 149 wRC+ in AAA.

Only hit 1 of 3 Daily Doubles and still managed to get over $50k. GOAT But maybe his closest game yet. If the other guy hit that last DD he loses.

Truly. I really hope to be on Jeopardy someday but I don't think I could ever be as good as James. Maybe the most incredible thing is his recall. If he knows the answer he seems to have an instant ability to pull that info. No waiting around trying to find it in his brain. The only example I remember of him knowing the answer but it not coming was tonight with the "Zeiss" question.

I've tuned in every night (I do regardless) and he is the GOAT already. He has a better average Coryat (basically just money value ignoring Final Jeopardy and Daily Doubles only counting for the clue dollar value) than Ken Jennings. With last night's win his average winnings passed $77,000. That's notable because it was the 1-day record before his run. His average game is now above that.

I hate diving but I also hate that you are apparently allowed to endlessly crosscheck in the playoffs if the other guy stays on his feet.

Lowry was fine. 20 pts on a 53.3 TS%. Really bad decision on that particular play.

I was going to say this. Montoyo is making the big-brain play. Planting the desire to get into shape into Vlad's head. Vlad becomes a +10 run 3B and puts up multiple 10 WAR seasons and leads the Blue Jays to 3 World Series. -

I'm completely out of patience with Buck Martinez. He seems especially bad this year. I don't know any casual fan would enjoy him either. He just endlessly talks about strikeouts and hitting the ball the other way.
