I don't mind it at all. It's interesting to hear from fans from around the world.
And I'd rather threads be a bit more fluid than just the general Blue Jays thread, around baseball thread etc.
The Dunedin Blue Jays are just starting their game in Fort Myers. They must be pretty desperate to get this one in if the first pitch was at around 10:30pm local time.
Buddy Bosher and Jason Adam
Can't remember the last time I saw a pitcher enter the game for the Blue Jays that I had never heard of before. Not to mention two of them back to back!
He had actually been promoted to high-A by the Mets a few days before the trade.

If Derek Fisher was on the Marlins or something and this trade was made I'd feel a lot better about it. Be pretty happy honestly.
It's just the silly fear of embarrassment and getting better-organization'd and Houston transforming Sanchez into something lol
Whatever, Sanchez has been garbage for 3 years.
The Blue Jays traded Guadalupe Chavez for Scott Feldman during the 2016 season. I remember going to look up his numbers and being surprised to learn of his retirement at the end of 2016.
Apparently he retired because his brother was kidnapped in Mexico. He only started pitching again this year.

Kendall Williams in the GCL today: 2IP, 0H, 0R, 3BB, 5K
By the way, Simeon Woods Richardson is over a month younger than Kendall Williams. That's crazy.
Not a prospect but you have to wonder why the Rockies never gave Jordan Patterson a real chance at the major league level. He's in the Blue Jays system now and having a horrible year but his pre-2019 stats are pretty good: https://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=15119&position=OF
For whatever it's worth, Clay Davenport's numbers didn't hate his defence either: http://www.claydavenport.com/ht/PATTERSON19920212A.shtml
Thats a +15 fielding number in RF in 2016
+10 at 1B and -2 in RF in 2017
+6 at 1B and -4 in RF in 2018
+6 at 1B and +9 in RF in 2019
Even if they didn't have outfield room they could have tried him at 1B. The Rockies had an 87 wRC+ from their first basemen in 2017 and a 69 wRC+ in 2018. That Ian Desmond contract. Yikes
I think it definitely considers them independently.
A 100 wRC+ in the IL is about a .340 wOBA and in the PCL it's around .353.
I would be surprised if they did have the same wRC+ scale and park factors made up all that difference. IDK if they use the same linear weights in wOBA for both.
Edit: btw there are links in the two wOBA numbers I quoted but they are hard to see.
Julian Merryweather's name leaked last year but don't most PTBNL lists stay out of the public's knowledge?
I understand not wanting your players to know they were on a PTBNL list but the whole practice is stupid. Just pick the players to trade and have them move organizations that day.
